Definitely a big improvement over the previous version, but I still hate those bulky and toyish looking hands they keep giving us. Why can they not make something that looks like black leather gloves??

I'd be happy if they'd just stop giving us absurdly oversized hands. So many of my figures have these and it's distracting because it throws off the proportions wildly depending on how they're posed.

Black Adam and WW84 come to mind. The upcoming Savage Opress figure looks to have enormous hands. Joy...

This one is really tempting. The older version still looks good, but this is indeed an upgrade. I do t need to upgrade, but…

It's unfortunate, but for now, I set the bar for HT at getting the shape right and having the hood usable. The robe for ROTS Obi-Wan is atrocious, you have to use magnets and odd folds just to get it to look remotely decent and like Kenobi looks in the movie, and given that he had it up for multiple scenes, it's not like it could be passed off as hey, they didn't care because it doesn't need to go up.

How does the Medicom robe work with the DX Maul? I have used it with my Sideshow custom, but it feels a bit snug on him, but it is passable.

Crazy this is the best licensed mass produced Maul sculpt and paint work. Bravo HT. Now need PCS to bring on the 1/3 statue!

Looks absolutely incredible. I sold the previous one a few years ago and regretted it ever since. Cannot wait to add him back to my collection. I wish HT put this much effort into the new Terminator sculpt, as they did with this Maul. Thanks for sharing these great pics of the new sculpt

For sure. I've owned every 1/6 Maul except for the original HT, and as far as portraits go, I'd rank them as follows.
