I love how Luke's prediction in ROTJ did end up coming true. 
Basically every other scene she was in throughout the entire pt. In pm, she acted like a robot as queen amidala, literally c3po had more emotion then her and his face never changed. Then on tatoonie she acted like she was an inexperienced school girl in a high school play- she was just there playing a kid, not a character, of if she was she failed to convey that. She was terrible throughout all of atoc as there was absolutely no chemistry between her and hc at all so that love **** she was spouting out come off as amateur and fake- most of her lines were stilted as **** devoid of any kind of real emotion- or urgency. it wasnt until the end of sith that her acting slightly picked up, maybe she was just so happy this nightmare was coming to an end and she never have to see HC again lol
Almost all the actors exited the pt unscathed no matter how bad thier acting was during it, only HC, Amad Best and Jake loyd got really ****ed
In the st they are all done except for adam driver and andy serkis-it just goes to show that people will accept terrible acting just not mediocre acting but playing characters that are completely unlikeable, much like atoc anakin all the new st characters were unlikeable - so they are all done id be surprised to see any of them have a strong acting career after the st- daisy is completely done and honestly her acting wasnt even as bad as NP in the pt but people just hated her character so much. The death sentence for any actor- she is box office kryptonite From here on out just cause of her association with rey. Hc got the double whammy terrible acting and unlikeable character lol poor dude- its not surprising he disappeared from hollywood for so long
Really all this talk about him coming back for the obi wan series is his way to fix his acting career- if clone wars anakin is like able and showcases his better acting ability then he will be able to get back into acting again. This is his big shot so i wasnt surprised to hear about him coming back at all. I am rooting for him cause george did him dirty, he should never been cast as anakin in his first major acting role

You're so right - Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o, Laura Dern, Benicio Del Toro and Keri Russell will probably never land another film or TV role again. Oh wait....
It's true DR probably will never land another role as big as Rey, but that hardly means her career is over. And for every person who hated her character there's someone who loved it. Also, we must have two very different definitions of the phrase box office kryptonite. When you were one of the leads in the highest grossing domestic film of all-time, I don't think that's an apt description. Granted she'll never be a bankable star like Harrison Ford in his prime, but her presence in a cast isn't going to make me decide to not see a movie. Just because you didn't like her character doesn't mean she didn't deliver a good performance or is a bad actress.

I actually don't remember the films that well, but at least in TFA her acting seemed fine to me. I also think no one should overestimate the general public's (as opposed to fandom's) reaction to the ST. They were big whiz-bang movies that came and went. People's kids have Lego, nerds are crying in the distance and the world has long since moved on.

Benecio del toro doesn't count he had a tiny role in tlj most of the side actors you listed besides gleeson wont be effected, you know i was referring to the main actors. I had to laugh at lupita nyong she played a small voice over as maz lol and it wasnt perceieved as racist like ahmed best character was. So how bout we get to the point that the main actors who all played unlikeable characters are done, issacs included
If it wasn't for sites like this, the ST would have died and been long gone already... like Coco says: you truly die when the last person mentions your name.
Not saying you are wrong, but......Its fun to talk about star wars even the things you dislike about it. We are all stuck in the house in this new covid world, with crazy protesting, looting, wildfires burning down half the west coast- why not talk star wars. It beats talking about the alien covenant sequel that will never happen, gladiator part 2 or avatar 21 oh wait we are on part 2 lol
Well you included Serkis, and it's not like we saw his face either. And over the course of the trilogy Maz probably had just as much screen time as Snoke did (not counting the Snokes in a jar
), so Lupita seemed an appropriate counterpoint. I didn't include Boyega because he's doing a good job sabotaging his career without addressing his acting in the ST. But Oscar Isaac is one of the most respected actors out there, so you're way off base with that prediction. You may have noticed he's playing Duke Leto in Dune?

We shall see how that turns out, i agree he is a good actor but the whole reason he wants no part of star wars anymore is the damage the st did to his career. He probabaly got the dune part well before tlj or rise aired. He was fine in tfa, it was the other two films that made his character unlikeable and his acting well left alot to be desired plus he had alot of corny lines like at the start of tlj
I will add he was corny as **** as apocalypse in xmen as well so maybe he lost his acting mojo- again dune will give us much more insight on issacs as an actor but playing poe did not help his career at all
Oh I agree... my comment was more about the "outside world" and the ST's relevance to it. Or rather, its relevance to the those of the outside world, which from my observations is minimal to non-existent at best. I used to have avid conversations with friends about Star Wars and even the PT... but nowhere outside of this site can I find anyone who wants to talk about the ST nor really cares one way or the other like they used to with previous trilogies. It is almost like it never happened. That should speak volumes. And in time, it will. I know we talk about the generation to come who will love and collect the ST... but that group is going to be very small indeed and their dear-hearted memories of the nu-Star Wars will pale compared to their MCU memories.

First off.. It's other then Ford its not like the SW films churn out actors who later become box office gold.
Its not like Mark Hamill or Carrie Fisher went out and was a huge box office draw..
Has Ewen McGregor been in another big film since the PT.. I am talking blockbuster here. He was in Birds of Prey
Liam and Sam Jackson continued to be bankable after the PT. But they were big well before the SW films.
Portman won an Oscar but I cant think of any big movies for her either.
As for the ST.. The already mentioned Isaac is doing just fine.. Driver is bigger then ever.. Wasnt he just a TV show actor before this? I had never heard of him till these films got released.
I think Daisy will go down the same path as Hamill and Fisher and SW will be her one claim to fame.. But who knows.. I think he is likable enough but I don't see her ever being Blockbuster material.

Neither carrie fisher or mark hamill were big names actors before star wars. It didnt help that carrie had a major cocaine habit and mh got into a car accident that destroyed his pretty boy appeal. Ford was always going to be a star just like driver because they are really good actors. issacs was a good actor before he starred in the st, same with JB, dune doesnt count cause he got the role before the st was done. Lets see what roles he gets after that
V for vendetta was good. She was also really good in the professional as a young kid that turned in a better acting performance then most adults. She should have been nominated for that role she was that good
When you guys say big movies do you just mean blockbusters regardless of acting quality? In that case she was also in thor and thor dark world
