V for vendetta was good. She was also really good in the professional as a young kid that turned in a better acting performance then most adults. She should have been nominated for that role she was that good

I was replying to jaws quote that she was not in big movies so i listed v and the thor movies all of which took place after she was cast in the pt. There was nothing in jaws post about pt leading to a breakout role for portman so i dont know what your talking about lol..she already had breakout roles prior to staring in the pt, the pt also never hurt her career which again was my original point. The only reason i brought up the professional was to illustrate that she was already a proven, Oscar quality actress prior to the pt.

Unfortunately for DR, JB and OI they are not at that level.

Fisher and Hamill are household names literally for one role, its crazy to think that after star wars hamill became the “best” voice of animated joker Or the voice of a chucky In the ****** remake movie, or even the toyman on cw flash then to jake skywalker in the st lol. Fisher disappeared for years only to return in older age as a writer/producer then Back to leia in tfa then mary poppins in tlj

Ewan is a good actor but your right he is not a household name because he stars in alot of movies like big fish lol

Neither carrie fisher or mark hamill were big names actors before star wars. It didnt help that carrie had a major cocaine habit and mh got into a car accident that destroyed his pretty boy appeal. Ford was always going to be a star just like driver because they are really good actors. issacs was a good actor before he starred in the st, same with JB, dune doesnt count cause he got the role before the st was done. Lets see what roles he gets after that

Fisher could have gotten roles between SW films.. I dont think the Cocaine thing became a problem until around Jedi time.
True about Hamill and the car accident though..

But that is the same point that can be made about Daisy Ridley.. She was a a nobody and if her career goes nowhere it wont be any different then Hamill or Fisher.. JB was basically a no name also.. So I guess I am saying that I don't see the issue you see with the ST killing careers.

Ive never heard of Colt 45 but I'd still argue most people today wouldn't know who BDW is.

There's no shortage of hotties in SW that's for sure. Fisher, Portman, Ridley, Clarke, Jones, Russell. Even Keira Knightley makes an appearance. Then you've got totally random throw away hotties like the chick above, TLJ A-Wing pilot, and TFA Asian X-Wing pilot. Hell even the Mando blacksmith is hot under her helmet, lol.
