Your posts always have merit. :duff

You make a good point. Kylo indeed could have simply been telling *Rey* to let the past die so that *she* could let go of Luke, Han's memory, etc., which she would need to do in order to join him. Then he could continue being a Vader-loving freak who wanted to manipulate the galaxy however he saw fit.

Yep. Lost Junkion we did. Lose ajp we must not, lol.

I'm not lost like Count Doody. I'm more like Qui-Gon. I shall do what I must!

Also like Qui-Gon, I'm a little too old to be wrasslin' with pissed-off, horny wannabe Sith.
Luckily Dave's Infinity Snap took care of a lot of those types. :lol

They're at the bottom of a dark hole getting fitted with cyber-legs as we speak, lol.

I'm de-spoiling Jye's quote cause its most likely a gigantic load of BS.

it’s rumored that the Luke scene filmed last week was of him in a young Luke flashback ripping apart and pulling down a star destroyer on Jakku. Fans demanded a super powerful Luke after TLJ and JJ/Disney will be addressing every complaint.

As one of the top vocla TLJ haters on this board I've always maintained the number one disdain I had for TLJ was for wimpy, sackless, neutered Luke.

THIS!!! THIS Is the post-ROTJ I have always remembered and loved since 1991, and would have cried for joy to ever see it on the big screen:

Star Wars - Dark Empire 01 - 18.jpg
Star Wars - Dark Empire 01 - 19.jpg
Star Wars - Dark Empire 01 - 20.jpg

Now yes, this was a "lowly" AT-AT and not a Destroyer but the message came through loud and clear....Luke was in Grand Master Jedi territory now. It was so insanely bad ass to me. Loved his outfit too.

Even the Crait outfit was just close enough for me.

But Crait was a fake out, and nothing they show in any flashback is gonna erase Force-castrated Luke from TLJ, not even some fan service sequence like that. Cause it's an obvious pandering retcon and changes nothing.

Besides, its fanboy dreaming. It'll never happen.

But I'm exhausted with complaining about TLJ. Eff it. You guy love it? You win. Go have back to back viewing parties. I'm done arguing.

If there's a moral to this post, or all my posts, it's this: I'll always have Dark Empire.

Great post and thanks for responding to Jye's Bravomite bait haha. I love Dark Empire and the post Jedi novels (including the canonically earlier Shadows of the Empire) that came out in the 90s.

Jye I have decided to reinstate much of the EU into my canon version of Star Wars and discard the ST as "legends". I was conflicted by your post though as I would be intrigued to see that version of Luke on the big screen played by Hamill even if it was just a flashback. I would view it as LFL's version of an apology of sorts as true... Whoops we screwed up Luke please forgive us and buy Star Wars merch again. But it wouldn't erase TLJ Luke for me, nothing can prevent that now (said in ROTJ scary eyebrows Darth Vader reveal voice).

Heres the thing.....it never, ever stated that Luke is the most powerful Jedi ever.....not once.....

He is strong with the force, thats it....

Not sure where folks get the idea he should be viewed at the most powerful Jedi ever.

He never would have beaten Vader is he was not related to him....

Vader was distracted by conflict, and getting old.

To me , Yoda , Mace and Obi, were way stronger than Luke.

This is so epic it’s not even funny..........hell yeah it’s funny lol

Luke tried to be all with “da force” trying to show the Emperor who was boss....

Then he quickly became Emperor toast :lol

But muh ALPHA MALE HULK LUKE MUST TAKE DOWN A STAR DESTROYER WITH HIS BARE HANDS

lulz

It’s my double entendre!!

Harmey DON’T do big nose dames :lol

Oh and thanks Junkion :hi5:

Maybe not Obi-wan? I'd suggest that Luke at least had the potential to be better than him.

Yoda - well, he has 900 years of being a jedi. So yeah there's no reason to think Luke should be performing feats or defeating opponents that Yoda didn't or couldn't even with the added 30 years post-ROTJ.

Mace Windu - not in my canon :D

Soooooo

how will they be handling Han’s scene with Luke will it be an aged Alden, did Ford come back or was this secretly previously shot to be used now?

The latter is my guess.

First I've heard of this.

But if Luke is going to be Mark Hamill then Han will be Harrison Ford. Maybe it'll be CG de-aged versions...

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Apparently there's some dude on youtube and he's posting "exclusive" spoilers every few hours.

Man, I wish I'd thought of that. If he gets the views up, he'll be raking in money from suckers and when the movie comes out and it was all nonsense he made up, he can just delete his dumb channel. Hell of a racket.

Snikt should have monetized his Vampire Snoke/Endless Love theories.
