Matrix was a cool idea that made for a good first film but that's it after that. The rest absolutely suck. :chase

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Neo meetng Trinity in the club remains an awesome scene as does the helicopter into the building plus his training montage but I just can’t sit thru it anymore it lost its cool for me but man did it embarrass TPM.

Wachowski’s had the honor of being the first to realize on screen with cgi what Superman would feel and look like in flight pre Superman Returns.

I guess WB was testing the waters.

I pfer Snyder’s version of flight though.

T1/T2 haven’t lost their cool though.

When I was a kid my dad was super cool and let me and my brother skip school to go to Return of the Jedi on opening day.

I was only about 5, and I was still a little traumatized by ESB, to be honest. I remember quaking in fear in that theater really believing that the Rancor was gonna eat Luke, or that the rest of the heroes weren't gonna make it out. In the end, we got a happy ending, except for one dead ewok.

Can you imagine anyone, young or old, giving a flying **** if Rey, Poe, Finn, Rose, or ANY of these characters die? I think the only "death" that would even elicit a sympathy "awwww" from an audience would be BB-8 and that thing's a ******* soccer ball.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

When I was a kid the Rancor keeper sobbing like a ***** after Luke kills the rancor always freaked me out. You just had this awesome scene with a cool alien trying to eat the hero and then the focus shifts on this random fat guy without a shirt on blubbering. The creepy ominous synth music that’s playing as he shoves Luke away to get a look at the crushed rancor always weirded me out.

Yes if one person in a forum could care less about a movie character that must mean that all 7.5 billion humans must feel the same way as they do lol

I mean can you imagine the nerve of one of those 7.5 billion not hating what you hate.

Not all 7.5 billion people are going to watch or even know about the next Stah Wahs tho. Not even half that, not even a quarter of that!

Both of your arguments are flawed. His for assuming nobody would care (I’m sure even Rose has a few hundred fans, not to mention all those weird Finn + Poe shippers with the art work) and yours for assuming billions would when even something in the thousands range would be generous. :lol

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

And you’re assuming they don’t hold that distorted view on everything.

I bet it applies to everything in that persons life.

Girls
Food
Cars
Clothes
Collectibles
Work
Traveling
Movies
Sports
Music

I bet they say the same thing every second of the day.

“CAN YOU BELIEVE someone cares about.....”

Insert idiocy lol

Fills out that 7.5 billion pretty quickly now doesn’t it.

Chakor hates Civil War I never say “Can you believe someone actually hates CW!”

He has presented his reasons why and I respect those reasons.

I just bust his chops like he does my lol

I like Otomofan. He likes Robocop, Terminator, Keaton Batman and Star Wars (back when it was good). He’s a funny guy and his tastes align with my own. Is he a little weird? Sure. But so is everyone on this board.

By questioning him and his hyperbole, you’re insulting me. He’s one of my representatives with the authority on fandom. Now, get on your knees, kiss my hand and apologize in the hopes that I forgive you Jye.

You try that peanut butter on your apples this morning?

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Now kiss his feet for talking back to him, jye. :chase

You guys should get jerseys made, it’d be cute. Nothing quite like having the name of another man on your back.

A good question . . . for another time.

Wasn’t your dad heavy into sports collectibles.

My brothers are the sports/gambling fanatics.

Sports bore me.

Well not always..
