I'm glad they didn't name it "The Rise Of Legendary Luke Skywalker"... we'd be discussing TROLLS.

I'm not gonna lie, "TROS" is an awkward acronym. It'll take some getting used to. ROTS, RO, TROS. A minor keyboard mistake could prove fatal, lol.

They never said that Han married Leia, they said they were together , had a son and then Han left so technically Leia could be a Skywalker even though Bel adopted her. So maybe the title is even more misleading

To be completely honest here I have watched this trailer now going on about 50 x and I have to say it is truly outstanding.

Actually , my first thought was that place looks an awful lot like Naboo at night....

I’m just curious if that a wing going down in flames was over Bespin or was that the battle of Jakku?

I am thinking the Sith have their own version of Force Ghosts. Maybe they can possess people (clone wars) or maybe do an undead thing (Snoke) or maybe both.

I say the Emperor has done just that an was looking to get a powerful apprentice in Kylo. I also think Palps would have wanted Luke out of the picture and maybe even possessed him for a time, giving some disgruntled fans a reason why “perfect” Luke almost Killed Kylo.

Now Kylo realized he has been played by Palps into killing his father, (which Luke couldn’t do) and wants payback (So Rey and He join against a greater evil)

Luke returns to save both of them, since Rey is a Skywalker, and Kylo is also.

Luke ends up fighting Palps one on one, but in the end they all cannot defeat him.....

Que Heavy breathing of Vader........whos suit melts away to reveal pre fall Anakin, (Hayden) who defeats Palpatine once again, with his entire family finally ending the sith.

Was it Rebels or CW that we got a glimpse of what Palapatine was capable of doing with the force ghosts theory. anybody remember that episode? It was really dramatic and creepy but very revealing

I think what we should read into the inclusion of "Skywalker" in the title is that Disney Marketing/Branding department played a mythical role in its creation.

So he lives..then what. The universe has changed since ROTJ . He wouldn’t fit in because a guy like Kylo is in charge who we saw is not afraid to kill his own master
