Interesting that they are saying TROS might refer to Rey creating a new order, and instead calling them Jedi, she would call them The Skywalker Clan

Rey on lead guitar, ghost Luke on bass. Palps could be the manager who always wants time alone to tutor each new broom boy.

So I guess it was revealed by JJ at celebration that Rey had begun to study the Jedi journals ..so now her skill in the teaser makes sense :lecture

:lol:lol

So she read some books...huh. Maybe she's just naturally talented. :lol It reminds me of Jordan trying to explain his athletic talent when asked how he could jump so high and far in a basketball instructional video, "Well, when I was a kid I used to...just ride my bike and run. :dunno"

That photo of Hayden is both awesome and disturbing at the same time lol

Yes, especially after he snapped the kid's neck upon request from the parents. It's was an additional $50, but worth it. :woo:woo

Didn’t you see the CW series. Several episodes about the Journals depicting Jedi fighting and training styles

I know this had probably been discussed but..

My question to everyone is - how in the hell was Mark Hamill allowed to go off and say all those negative things about the last two movies, especially TLJ ??

And then come back and apologize after it was far far too late to?

Why did they not hush him early on? And I know there is one vid we’re KK does interrupt him but he is still allowed to go on after that in other vids and say things negatively. Isn’t it in his contract to not speak in such ways about the film he is involved in? How did he get away with it?

Was really a loose cannon??

Yes, technically it was unprofessional, but it was also refreshing to hear an actor speaking their mind instead of just parroting the corporate line. A robust exchange of views is always healthy, but someone has to have the final say - and that's the director.

Usually actors will pass on a role if they don't like the script, but Hamill would have signed for three films on the strength of TFA.

Oh I’m on his side, I just never understood why he got away with it for so long.

It’s as if he had them by the balls or something. Lol.

Not being on the LFL payroll, he can't be controlled like an employee can (though as you say, there'd be clauses in his contract).

In the end I think they need him more than he needs them (even though he would have had a nice payday from the ST).

Yeah, he was definitely worried how his character was being creatively portrayed.

They probably did need him more than he needed him. Wonder what they pay check looked like though?

It looked good enough to stay on the job despite his “reservations”

In one of Yesterdays interviews, Tom Kane (the voice of many SW animated characters. most known for Yoda) voiced his displeasure about Ackbar's demise in TLJ. I watched the whole interview live yesterday. It was reported when Disney put the full separate video clip up they edited out his remarks from the interview... Even the host is very uncomfortable. I'm sure he had to follow a strict NO NO question list with TLJ.

Here's the clip someone uploaded to YT.

Disney still doing damage control on TLJ... :rotfl

Well sure, most actors would prefer their characters not be killed/written out of a show or movie. Unless your incredibly wealthy like Ford.

It's not his character, he's a voice actor Of MANY SW characters.. And this was a live action movie, not an animated cartoon. He has nothing to do with the movies. He didn't care Ackbar was killed, it was how.

And his opinion is shared by the majority of fans, even those that liked TLJ.

I guess you find it quite ok that Ackbar's death was a side bar so they could focus on the nobility within women with Purple Hair?

Ehhhh.... didn't know he wasn't the voice of Akbar in the movie?

Calm down, keep telling yourself, "it's only a movie".

Sure, Akbar earned the glorious death more than Holdo. But at the Endor the day (that's for you, Difabio) it doesn't really matter. Is all pretend and just actors reading lines. Akbar was a side character, and didn't have a big impact on the whole story. Maybe, just maybe, It was felt that since the role was expanded, it might not work very well to have the characters interacting so much with a Lobster man?

I just find it hard to get so worked up about meaningless stuff like that.

Calm down, what is that supposed mean? Your the one who commented on my post. How am I even remotely showing I'm worked up? I posted the video cause I watched it live yesterday and then found it funny to read Disney edited out his comments. Disney is still censoring ill comments about the beloved TLJ movie. Who won't let it go?

Did Ackbar have a voice in TLJ? I don't remember any scenes seeing him talk. If he did, my bad. I watched the movie once, and most likely will never be watched again. And no, Tom Kane was not the voice of Ackbar in ROTJ. That was Erik Bauersfeld. I don't remember him talking in either TFA or TLJ.

Holdo’s suicide scene was epic already BUT had it been Ackbar it would’ve surpassed epic and been an instantaneously iconic scene in the entire saga!

It is hands down my biggest gripe with TLJ not Luke throwing the saber or the FO questionable military tactics or Canto Bite (my ***).

It was Ackbar not being given the dignity and character respect on what would’ve easily been one of the best deaths in cinematic history boy did Rian drop the ball on that one big time.

Sincerely,

TLJ Supporter
