It turns out he was mad that they were racing animals and not slave children on Canto Bight and almost got away with stopping Finn's sacrifice from preventing the door being destroyed.

Thats like asking who’s worse, Anakin’s character in AOTC or Hayden acting......
At least Maz was only a secondary character on screen for 10 minutes.

To be fair to Attack of the Clones and the character of Anakin he only had one bad line in the movie. The romantic exchanges between him and Padme would be kind of awkward because quite frankly there's something wrong with him.

"I wish I can just wish away my feelings." Now that is a truly horrendous line. The rest of the dialogue in the movie really isn't that bad.
