Like Lucas, I guess Disney has two distinct parts to its mindset: the side that gave us the original Star Wars and in Disney's case, Rogue One, and then there's the side that gave us Howard The Duck, and the ST.

I'm surprised that they never gave Rey a double-bladed lightsaber. Her original Jakku staff seemed tailor made to segue into such a weapon when she became a fully trained Jedi.

It literally looks like they took Hot Toys Palpatine, turned the opacity of the image down, and threw him on art work of Rey and Kylo fighting that is supposed to be reminiscent of the Revenge of the Sith Obi-Wan vs Anakin and Revenge of the Jedi Luke vs Vader imagery.


2 mins in photoshop, tops. Nothing we haven't seen before. Hell, looks just like Force Awakens.

I'd expect Palpatine to call her that in IX and to then say ''see what I did there?''. It'd be perfectly in keeping with the humour of Poe holding for Hux in that voice call at the beginning of TLJ.

I wonder how Palpatine will spin the end of ROTJ as being part of his plan all along.
