Looks as bad as the last two.
They had to pad the video with past greatness to make J.J. Kennedy’s stuff look fairly interesting.
Kill em all and start over.
Keanu Reeves as Revan in an Knight’s of the Old Republic trilogy.

You could show a line-up of our avatar's with that music playing and it would seem majestic and interesting.

Without it, looks like a series of fan-made shots. Especially the last one.

Fan made posters, fan made tv shows, fan made movies.

Star Wars just keeps limping on! C'mon guys, you're almost at the finish line, you can make it!

I think Evil Sith Femme Fatale has been the longest running fanboy fantasy since Star Wars started. At least since Leia in the bikini made young boys realize Star Wars could be sexy.

It will be JJ's great contribution to the Star Wars lore.

Then again, its likely just one of those "mirror" flash-forward things taunting Rey -- what she could become -- used as misdirection to get fanboys excited. I mean, if you thought that "Evil Rey" was your big payoff, would you give it away like that? It would be like ESB having a Vader voiceover in the trailer saying: Luke.... I am your father.

When it comes to SW i?m still a little kid inside.

SW music and spaceships and epic monologues still give me goosebumps.

Me too! Im not a naysayer, everyone just jumps on the hate bandwagon and criticizes every little thing, I'm not going to let that infect my soul. I still have the capacity to enjoy things, I refuse to give in to the hate.

I don't think those Star Destroyers were in any kind of battle formation. I'm guessing the rebellion come upon some kind of factory/inventory. And there is no way that even Disney is silly enough to give a way a momentous plot twist scenario like Rey turning to the dark side. Clearly some kind of vision either on her own, or maybe Kylo's vision, or a training vision (like Luke in the cave), or something.
It's been interesting reading the debate. I have to side a little on ajp view on this one. I love the OT, and to be honest, I prefer what they've done with the ST than what Lucas did with the PT. Luke was only idealistically heroic in ANH. In ESB, he was impulsive and reckless, and in ROTJ he was quite on the fence of turning on occasion. He let his emotions overcome him constantly. Makes perfect sense to me that if he watched/helped his nephew turn to the dark side, and see the destruction of his new temple and slaughter of pupils, his emotions would again get the best of him and he'd become a depressed recluse. And with the 1st Order growing in number and power, it would make sense for old Luke to feel like it was pointless (in that depressed frame of mind).
To me, the biggest issue I had with TLJ was the timeframe of Rey's "training" (it really appeared to be over the course of 48 hours or so), and that there wasn't a Luke payoff. I can understand the idea that his force projection took a tremendous amount of strength and force power, but it would have been nice to see some explicit display of power for Jedi Master Luke.

But the trailers/teasers always get me excited anyway.

Haven't visited in here for awhile. Just get annoyed and reminded as to how the ST has somewhat soured SW for me (at least the new stuff). But going back through the last few pages was fun...

Great job Khev!! :hi5:

So glad to see you come to your senses over time about the ST!! :clap About time you saw the light and once again joined the light side of the force... I'm proud of you... :lol

As far as that D23 sizzle ****, most likely Rey going to the dark side is part of a vision, like her stupid cave ****. That's what seems to be being discussed most places, and I agree. Give the fan boys a glimpse of evil Rey and let them eat that **** up. Meanwhile there is no way the inspiring, likeable, powerful and perfect girl power MarySue, I mean female Jedi, would turn evil. She is the messiah come to save the galaxy from the dumb and evil men children who keep repeating the same thing over and over. No way Kennedy is gonna let her star creation turn to evil. What would all those millions of new little girl SW fans she created (I mean she did decry "The Force IS Female"), and their mothers think!!??!? Not a good message trying to show little girls can be heroes too. Especially since we've never seen that before, EVER!! :monkey3 Probably a vision eluding to what could be/could've been scenario if she joined Kylo & Snoke or Palps, or whatever the hell the stupid storyline is now. And all those Star Destroyers are probably the same.

And nothing like creating a buzz by trying to pander to the lost OT fans by having the entire 1st minute be a montage to what was (mostly) good in SW. I still refuse to see this movie, but I will have fun watching all the trailers, buzz, and discussions about this mess unfold. All while hoping this last part of this awful "Elsweworlds story" that is the ST fails miserably.

:)

It won't last. After he watches EP 9, he'll like it, become dark Khev, and buy new Hawt Toyz. SNIKT will laugh.

I just seen the new D23 Expo sneak peek at Episode IX and I must say that the only bright spot in it was the reveal of the Y-Wings. If The Rise of Skywalker sucks we'll at least have Y-Wings to look at. I'm way more pumped for The Mandalorian! :D
