Like I and others keep saying it's all just simpler if you write the ST films off as the superfluous add-ons that they are. Want the conclusion to the Star Wars saga? Congratulations! You saw it in 1983. Or alternatively you saw it in 1977. ESB, although the best individual movie by the reckoning of a large portion of fans, can't really be considered any sort of conclusion with its cliffhanger ending - hence if you don't want ROTJ, you have to go no further than 1977, Star Wars, done.

Please, that cliffhanger is a more merciful fate for the OG cast than anything in the Disney movies.

Losing a hand and finding out your dad is Vader > old loser bum in an island who dies on a rock

Leia losing Han> Losing Han again and getting blown up in space and coming back as a CGI thing in the final film

Snoke makes them all look good. With his fancy robe and gold slippers and his cracked face... he was the kind of villain a 3rd grader would come up with. It's diabolical how un-creative the Disney team is. Disney -- the one-time fantasy experts. I don't know who to blame -- Disney as a whole, Kathleen or JJ. I mean, Snoke? Even the name isn't Star Warsian.

At least Disney and KK gave us Rogue One and Solo... but JJ. He got handed Star Wars -- STAR WARS -- and this was the best he could do.

He should have to walk naked through Galaxy's Edge. Shame.... Shame....

This is true. What the hell were they thinking with this character? What the hell? He sucked so bad. He was supposed to be all powerful, lead the second empire but dies in the dumbest way.

But how was he outsmarted? Plagueis fakes his death for what, 40+ years... only to come back with the ashes of the Empire? Shouldn't Plagueis have let Palps become Emperor, then kill him and take the throne at the height of Imperial Power?

I highly doubt she is a clone nonetheless it?s pretty bizarre that they went and revealed that in a trailer so something else is going on there.

But if she is a clone that would not bother me either as i?ve always had an affinity towards Star Wars being attached to cloning ever since hearing Obi-Wan mutter those mysterious words when I was an impressionable 10 year old.

I wasn?t too thrilled with how the PT handled clones though.

I've been catching up on this thread. Given that your twin died I don't want this to come off as insensitive, but despite all the whacky and/or convoluted theories I've just read, the thing that blew my mind was finding out that if not for fate we could have had two Jyes posting in this forum. That might have truly broken the internet.

Notice the writing ?...vision of (A) Rey...?, not ?...vision of Rey...? or "vision of the Rey" A is key here and really is the spoiler part, supports the twin sister clone theory, this other dark version is seeing this vision and will soon become it when she gets hijacked by palps essence where he will effectively "cheat death" and live on until the Rey or our (good skywalker) Rey kills him. Our Rey already had her Cave Trial and Reflection in last jedi, plus she rejected darkness for good when she refused to join kylo ren. There is no temptation left for our Rey. This is why snoke wanted to kill her *** he didn't even consider trying to turn her "the heart of a True Jedi"

Yep totally superfluous from a "super narrative" standpoint which just leaves fan service and not reuniting the big three and instead killing them off in tragic fashion was hardly what fans waited 35 years to see.

That said I still hope we see cool scenes of B-Wings kicking *** in TROS, lol.

How ironic that the "stand alone" movies (RO and Solo) actually sync up with the Saga much better than the ST which really *does* stand alone as being completely superfluous, lol.
