I am completely fearless of spoilers regarding this movie.
A sad thing, really. But also liberating.

I don't know if I will be able to convince my son to see this at the movies.

LOL - I?m also indifferent to spoilers.

The culmination of a 40 year cinematic saga and the stakes have never been lower!

My best-case scenario for this movie involves Ewoks. :lol

Yeah, I'm ready to jump off after the Skywalker Saga. I'll have a passing interest in The Mandalorian, Kenobi and some future projects, but I fear my SW obsession is at an end. :monkey2

I think the only one here who cares about spoilers is that apj Guy. Nobody cares about spoilers this time.

Well, "that apj guy" is giving his blessing to post whatever you all want to without spoiler tags. It's obvious now that all anyone else wants to do in ST threads is just trash the ST, so there's really no point for a fan of it to keep interacting here. I guess I just ended up being the stupidest of the fans who has taken the longest to finally realize what this thread is actually for.

Personally, I'd just stop reading (and posting in) a thread for a movie and trilogy that I don't give a **** about, but there's obviously great appeal in not doing so that I'm just missing. :dunno I'm all for whatever makes people feel good, though, so more power to ya.

Oh you know better than to take that iornwez guy's word as gospel. ;) You've still got rushmore, xipotec, Snoopy, and more than a few others that still love both TFA and TLJ that are excited to see how this all wraps up. :)

I too feel liberated in not giving one Iota about this movie. I've been reading everything that could be a spoiler. It's way more fun not caring about this movie. :lol

I can't wait to sit back and relax this time as a spectator and watch the fallout, as I will be sitting this one out. Will be fun reading about the good & the bad.. The fans/defenders & the haters/bashers. I wonder who from Disney will be doing damage control this time.. Who will come to the defense of JJ and Rose or whoever is the new hated characters in this. I highly doubt JJ will take to twitter defending this movie or attack the fans like dumb *** RJ did. So the drama might not be as intense.

December is gonna be a fun time... Feels good to know I won't have to partake in debates of TROS..

I just hope The Mandolrian is good... :)

As much as I have become disappointed, I still want to know how it will end. And, unlike other fans, I can hold on to my cherished memories of both OT and PT. Neither KK, RJ or JJ have ***** my childhood. It is sad that the Skywalker Saga didn't get a fitting finale (IMHO), but I really liked RO, Solo wasn't as bad as most would have it, and I was pleasantly surprised by the Mandalorian trailer. That actually does look interesting. As for the Obi Wan series, well, Ewan McGregor is such a cool actor, I know he'll pull it off, so I'm cautiously optimistic about that as well.

But I feel your pain aj... I feel the same way every time I go into the BvS thread...

I guess y?all known lucasfilm leaked the dark rey portion

LFL was silly to have revised the text - it all but confirmed that it was indeed a real spoiler slip. It might have been able to have been read either way, but them jumping in and changing it made the whole thing pretty clear.

That being said, in the way the shot was filmed (and also knowing the character and how sort-of humorous it would be if it was real) it was pretty obvious.

Rose won?t stop until she saves everyone.

Palpatine: "Execute Order Save What You Love."

Rose: "It will be done master."

Finn: "Rose, you're heading right for me, pull up--aiiieee!"

Every decent movie needs an aiieee! :lol

As long as the Kenobi series features this (canon) scene where Luke's Skyhopper saves Uncle Owen in mid-air, I'm good:

Going back to the whole exiled Luke thing, that was originally George's idea right? So yet again it's all his fault! :D

(But, as mentioned previously, not so different from Yoda and Obi)

Oh, I still love the OT and pretty much everything else SW. I'm even a PT fan (more good than bad in it, the characters and ships alone make it worth it), always was and will be. I'm perfectly happy with the OT, PT, RO (Solo was OK, have yet to watch it a 2nd time since seeing it in the theaters) & The Clone Wars cartoons. Even Rebels grew on me. The ST didn't ruin anything for me, it just soured my excitement for anything new coming from Disney, at least anything associated with the ST era and it's bland characters. I liked TFA, but TLJ made that unwatchable for me now. And not even gonna talk about the awful Resistance cartoon.

I will watch this eventually. Not gonna avoid it all together or forever. But I am skipping it in the Theater. I'm not gonna contribute any money to it. I'll wait till it's available on BD. I'll borrow it from my buddy and give it a go. By then I should know whether I'm gonna hate it or be able to find some enjoyment somewhere in it.
