Yousa point is well said ajp, as usual.

Despite the indifference towards the ST on these threads, remember it has a healthy following among millennials - and there'll be hell to pay if Reylo doesn't become a thing!

I will forever care more about OT Luke, OT Han and OT Leia than ANY PT character!

Me too but they're only supporting characters in the ST, and all their development from the OT is undone.

I swear if 30 years ago someone told me that after ROTJ the next time we'll we Luke Skywalker on screen he'll be drinking milk from a ****ie and not interacting with Han I would have though they were freaking nuts, lol.

The PT gave us a pointless 20 minute pod race scene. But it looked cool as hell and was an homage to Ben Hur's chariot scene. Meanwhile, TLJ gave us 30 min or so of poinltess meaningless and no plot moving Canto Bight. With Rose, Finn, stuttering Benicio, terrible looking aliens, BB8 slot machine gags, space cops flying hang gliders, the freeing animals while ignoring slave children... I'm sure I'm missing some great stuff somewhere in there.

I'd watch the pod race any day over Canto Bites.

But I guess that's just me.

The PT grew on me after watching it with my son, who fell in love with it and grew up on the clone Wars cartoon.

Canto does suck but so does the pod race.

ST sucking doesn?t automatically make the PT good.

Are we back to the slave kids again.

It was pretty obvious to me that they were short on time and they needed a diversion and escape plan real quick so:

A. The big horses were transports and faster and more destructive than those kids they made for a much better diversion what were they going to do ride the kids!

B. The horses were WORTH MORE THAN THE KIDS in that society they wouldn?t give a crap if those kids escaped.

But yeah sure lets bring up the slave kids again lol

Oh you know better than to take that iornwez guy's word as gospel. ;) You've still got rushmore, xipotec, Snoopy, and more than a few others that still love both TFA and TLJ that are excited to see how this all wraps up. :)

Here here!

I think the PT fails are more obvious. The ST is more watchable. Although TLJ comes close with the horsies and drunk Hogwarts alien. And if you told me Benicio Deltoro would be in a SW movie snd I wouldn’t even buy his action figure on clearance I’d have removed my glove and slapped your face.

Its always interesting to me that PT folks make comparisons like Canto To Pod Race......

Take the best (in relative terms) scenes from one to the weakest in the other.

Lets compare the End lightsaber fight in TFA to the Boss Nass scene in PT....

Or how about the Love/courtship scene in AOTC with the opening scene of TLJ?

Jye, do you see the ST like you see water parks?
