I used to think it was absolutely nuts that Cameron wasn?t given full creative control over SW and then I watched Avatar and those feelings quickly dissipated lol

Rumor is Kennedy taking over a retiring Horn and Feige Lucasfilm.

Favreau will be hired by Feige to direct it?s a no brainer by now.

Just look to Ebay. Prices for many well regarded SW items have significantly went down in value. The real SW fans have been betrayed. I have purged most of my collection. It's hard to remember the good times with the abortions they are continually putting out.

Wow, you guys really overreact. Purging your collection because you disliked movies that came out afterwards.

Im fine with the new movies, I didn't like the PT, but that doesn't affect my feelings for the OT. Honestly, and I'm not going to mince words, but that sounds like a childish reaction.

A couple years ago I sold a MR Helmet for over $2,000.00. I originally paid around $350 - $400 for it. Sounds like a pretty healthy return to me.

Tbh as a bad Star Wars fan who loves the lore And rots and Jedi and thinks Han Solo is meh..... I gotta say watching the behavior of Star Wars fans over the years has been astounding.

Simple solution keep your star wars stuff but dont buy anything that comes from that abortion of a movie. Why let that **** ruin the rest of it just dont support it in any way other than that first movie ticket when you got duped into seeing it. Ssc will have to start giving away tlj figures in order to clear stock or you end up seeing them a retailers that dont normally sell them because of big discounts like think geek and jedi training rey, lol the only hot toy they sell or should i say dont sell the same one has been there for months lol

Lol Rey and all the st characters are basically don?t sell but characters like from ot and pt sell . Rots anakin both versions are sold out.... a character everyone bagged on before.

Hell ya hot toys is killing the pt figures too all of them look great. I still need yoda then im caught up but im tempted to wait for for the revenge of the sith version. They really need to do windu, i need windu!!! The problem with prequels is george trying to write romance, its definitely not his forte the poor actors looked so uncomfortable saying some of that ****. It was so cringeworthy and just plain bad cut all that **** out of aotc (has a **** ton of it so you cutt alot of that **** and hayden was not a seasoned actor and could not handle key scenes that required far greater acting talents then he possessed) and rots and i find them very entertaining

People like to buy characters that look cool. He looked cool. Under different writing and direction, who knows, he might have genuinely been cool. But either way, appearance is all that matters on the toy shelf.

I always said if you take the 3 prequels and edit them all into one 3 .5 hour movie it would prolly be a fantastic movie. There is just alot of **** George should have edited out and he should have cast a better actor for the role of anikan. Hayden was much better in sith then in clones though

It would require an entire film worth of re-shoots new script new dialogue and new effects the only thing you wouldn?t have to alter would be the music everything else in the PT is sheer nonsense that is barely worth saving if it even could be saved at all.

The best irony of it all is that Tartakovsky set out to create a cartoon and ended up creating a better PT while Lucas set out to create a sweeping epic yet he is the one who ended up with the cartoon lol

Lucas is lucky that Disney even paid him over $4 billion after that ridiculous trilogy he delivered.

Even though it wouldn't end up matching the 1080p live-action footage I'd really like to see AOTC and ROTS with updated CGI across the board. Those flat cartoon backgrounds in ROTS especially are just so piss poor.

If they digitally erased Daniel Logan and cut out all lines that Temeura Morrison said to him I wonder if anyone would even notice. Just show Obi-Wan knocking on Jango's door and then it opening seemingly by remote control to let him into the room. Or instead of Logan they can insert Daniel Craig who says "Yeah what do you want? I'm Boba, my p***y little brother is in the back. Tell him that when he's done cleaning my ship to have it back on Geonosis by the end of the day without a scratch." And then he leaves, never to be seen in the PT again.

Cut out some of the other dumb lines that jye mentioned above and then film a full RO-style Episode 2.5 with Hayden and McGregor showing their developed friendship and they might be able to fully salvage the PT.

I can?t stand the clone troopers accents all being tied to that actor but an even worse offense is ESB Fett?s voice being altered for it that?s why i?m curious how Mandalorian will be portraying him that?s the tell all biggie right there.

Solo box office bomb not withstanding we?re still getting PT elements refurbished with better cgi and above 7th grade level writing lol

In the meantime i?ll continue enjoying watching people pretend that Lucas has never made a bad movie in his life.

I wonder what would happen if I went thru Quantum time and got 20th Century Fox to agree to get the rights to Flash Gordon for George Lucas? Where would we be right now?

Would my detolfs be full of Dale Ardens and Ming the Merciless-es? Would we debating if it was good to bring back the Flash Gordon lead just to have him die an old man?

Eh. Idk. If he wasn?t anakin Skywalker he?d just be some dude with long hair. Maybe it?s cause I?m younger or whatever but every scene he did without dialogue was great. He looked evil when turned to the dark side and his reaction to padme being pregnant was done well.

Rey looks cool but nobody wants her. Kylo ren is the coolest looking dude in the franchise and his figures never sold out. Captain chrome soldier or whoever also looks very cool but nobody bought a figure of her .
