The pre-vis for that was super thrilling

Still too fast. :lol

The leaks don't give any indication of "how" he survived. And I wouldn't hold my breath expecting an actual answer from JJ Abrams on that. As for how he'll be presented in the film, well, according to the leaks . . .

He's back in the flesh. Very weakened at first, and then gets a boost of vitality by taking Force energy (somehow) from Rey and Kylo. By the end, he's got a robe with black/brown and red color pattern and face looks like he did in ROTJ. Nothing confirmed officially, though, of course.

Gotcha. I figured he survived somehow and JJ will explain it like Kung Fu Panda.

With Kroll on there I'd take that with a grain of salt. Had to go after him a couple of years ago over something bs in one of his Variety stories and it took his boss to force him to revise the story.

Ain?t no director got complete control of that kind of money.

Story group producers, remember.

Jim Cameron begs to differ.:lecture

Palpatine will wear a blond wig in this one.

:rotfl

So left field.

If anyone bothered to read any of the other copious materials available, they have pretty much given away who Rey is.

She is the prime Jedi. Possibly split into two , Kylo and Rey, who need to come together to balance in one person.

Insert silly sex references as you will.

Sounds like a marriage/relationship trope read from a 1970s bedroom poster (the type with galloping horses in the background) alongside a Bo Derek pin-up.

Alllll right.

Rey's Optimum-bottom-for-us Prime (well, at least for Khev)

With the continued onslaught of "leaks" and details, the only good thing is that the GOT idiots decided to run after a Netflix payday and leave a gaping hole in Disney 's SW movie release schedule that would be best left unfilled while they focus on the streaming content taking the public attention with SW and start looking for a single creative voice that could create the next step for the big screen And no...it's not Feige or Johnson.

Abrams is simply not creatively capable of doing a memorable, lasting contribution to SW. He is NOT a visionary. Saying he's a visionary is like saying a line cook at a chain restaurant fixes gourmet food. He's a barely competent hack with a limited visual imagination (another ship raising from the bottom of the screen through smoke? Water? Ice? At least it's not another lense flare). It's extremely sad that the only thing he has going for himself is the ability to craft a cast with a sharp looking production that trades on nostalgia and makes a ton of money but evaporates for the audience as they leave the theater.

If there had to be a sequel trilogy, I was hoping for a better conclusion than "it made a billion dollars". But did anyone want to watch it again?

.

What a **** show this movie, and in general the ST, has become. That makes no sense, as by the end of the movie Kylo will be dead. So therefore the Force will be out of balance....Yet Again!!!

Unless they ascend and merge into an all powerful omnipotent (although Rey already kinda is) asexual being... Neither male nor female, neither light nor dark. Either way **** off.. So glad I will be watching the fallout from the sidelines. Gonna be some fun times come December.

So true. The greatest accomplishment of OT Star Wars is that it is still pop culture relevant decades later.

But not since the MCU has anything ever achieved that level of pop culture relevance that 77 did not even ESB and ROTJ so that?s not fair and it took the MCU 20+ movies to do that vs 1 for SW.

I do have a problem with the quaint idea that good and evil are so perfectly balanced that 'when darkness rises light rises to meet it'. Its a childish notion that makes the world way too simple. It also dilutes any possible drama that could exist in these stories. Nothing can ever be that bad, or that good, without balance... therefore everything is 'meh'.

It's totally the goal of the villain from The Incredibles at work here.

So Kylo and Rey are gonna merge like the things at the end of Dark Crystal.

Yeah right.

This is just more disinformation in the barrage of disinformation they've been pumping out for months. That or just yet another retarded fan theory.

SW was never complex. It's was very simplistic, light vs dark, good vs evil, bad guys wear black and good guys wear white. :lol

Agree. Sounds like bollocks.
