Shameful lack of diversity in that pic actually. 6 humans and 1 wookie?

2 droids (and no questions asked)..

Without Chewy in that EW ST cover pic this is what you're left with:

Even the PT has Maul and Padme in one of her crazy get-ups as distinctive, memorable looks.

The ST has been a total fail in terms of providing new characters with a distinctive look and feel - like visually interesting/unique and memorable/stand-outs as characters.

Beyond the fact that Disney has spent $200m+ and $100m+ in marketing and it's "The New SW Trilogy," this whole group (for the first time with no OT heroes to prop them up) is eminently forgettable:

The best character of the ST has been the Millennium Falcon.

Poe looks like he stole an outfit from Nathan Drake in Uncharted. Finn looks like an 80's to 90's era M.C. Hammer back up dancer. Rose looks an 8 year old kid in that photo. Nice touch with the Pixar lamp too.

Rey's fully realized costume is basically farm boy Luke with a pair of capri pants and Uggs boots. She has even stolen his lightsaber.

I get more of a "Ken from Toy Story 3" vibe, lol.

:lol to all of the above especially late 80's/early 90's back up dancer Finn, lol.
