They can do a limited series with Sebastian Stan who looks eeriely like a younger Hamill and show his years after-Empire to ATF etc. Am sure Luke didn't spend all his time hanging out at his sister's place. Fill in the who-is-Snoke gaps and explain how the First Order pops up so fast. Knights of Ren and all that. End the series with the destruction of the school and Luke leaving.
