Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Oh man, just watched the deleted scenes. The caretaker celebration scene is such a gem! I get why they cut it but it's got great moments for Luke, Rey, and Chewie and a goofy Ewok Village feel in the best possible way. :lol

Watch the doc that Fathier horse animatronic holy crap.

I thought that was cgi!

Yep, "you just ran so fast...." :lol

No kidding! Those animatronic fathiers blew me away. Pretty awesome that the exploding hut when Luke found Rey talking to Kylo was all practical as well.

Not surprised that Hux's stuntman broke his nose during the scene when Snoke slammed him to the floor. That was a legit face plant, lol.

Also sweet that both parents from "The VVitch" made appearances in TLJ. :yess: The mom was the FO chick who told Hux that a single fighter was approaching the Dreadnaught and the dad was the FO officer that spied Rose, Finn, and DJ and tried to catch up with them until the elevator closed in front of him in that one deleted scene.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Wow yeah it really was.

Oh man the doc doesn’t shy away from Hamill’s character concerns.

Did you see when the casino extra went up to Hamill just to tell him what Luke meant to him as a child.

Man this has to be the most emotional doc i’ve ever watched.

When Hamill passes away I will lose my ****.

If only Kate Dickie breast-fed a porg she would have a hat trick of gross nursing scenes between GoT, The Witch and TLJ.

I think she can still pull it off.

No kidding. So much for the claim that Disney is trying to bury his opinions. They just immortalized them in High Definition no less, lol.

And wasn't the guy in his full alien costume too? :lol :rock

One of the docs showed her nursing that little droid that was repairing Kylo's face but it got cut for time.

Did you see him crying bent over.

I mean, the first mention of the "conflict" says it all. Hamill says, "I fundamentally disagreed"...."that said, I was fully committed because this is not my character."

I think I said it once before but this reminds me of Harrison Ford being interviewed after Last Crusade wrapped. A journalist asked if he thought Indy was more spiritual for his encounters with biblical entities. Ford replied, "I don't know, ask the writers."

Wasn’t Ford just asked about Solo character continuing and his answer was I could give a rats ass lol

I saw the amazing animatronic horsey but had to stop. I need to prepare for The Terror episode 3. With strong drink.

Wow watching Rian connect the dots in the doc called Balance of the Force i’m totally behind his reasoning behind Luke’s journey as well as Rey’s parents.

The guy knew what he was doing.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

The fact that only a couple of people in here are still praising this pos vs the whole board shows how bad this film is...

I suspect those two might be just one shill who can't contain his sycophantry within a single account . Kinda like the Dark Side version of a local legend. :lol

Yea I only see Jye and Khev in here. Damn that's only two people. Maybe people just got sick of whining about it. What else is there to say? The fanbase is so alienated

most of the haters are not even here either. the biggest haters got banned (surprise surprise) and guys like Jaws dont want to talk about this ad nauseum.
the thread was literally killed off and khev and jye are still going like the energizer rabbit lol :lol:lol
a lot of people just dont care and are excited for infinity war. the world moves on and most people just want to have a good time and forget about the last jedi regardless if they liked it or not

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

It’s so weird how trying to talk about a movie you like is considered a negative here while repeating declarations of majority opinion is somehow a virtue.

Too many people tied into their doll board street cred. :lol

Pretty much. Didn't make a big impact. Didn't really please fans except a few. But I do enjoy seeing people's different views but everybody who disagreed with the movie are gone. Lol O well. Now the venom thread is gonna be boring without Snikt and his crazy theories.
