I promised i would never post her videos again, but your pug pic needed a reply lol

RJ did the same thing to Kelly Tran's looks as he did to Star Wars.:monkey3:lol

All new Blu ray or 4K players play 3D now.

Also, interesting thing I noticed, VUDU massively expanded their 3D library in the past few weeks. Went from 40 offerings to over 200!

I imagine there must be some demand for it if VUDU bothered to add so many titles.

Thor Ragnarok and Jumanji 2, which aren't available in 3D in the USA, are available on VUDU.

Wow, thanks for the heads-up.:hi5:

There are 2 types of people in this world the ones who accept River Pheonix as Indy and the ones who don’t.

Anyone who's named River and his siblings named Leaf and Rain is okay by me.

Things TLJ discarded:

  • Rey's back story
  • Finn as a primary character
  • Snoke as a primary villain
  • Snoke's back story
  • Kylo's cosplay mask
  • The significance of Luke's saber

Anything else??

Knights of Ren

plus:

C-3PO, R2-D2 (one great 5 sec scene), Chewbacca (should've eaten the Porg)

They basically have become fan service.

Key Phrases "I have a bad feeling...", wilhelm scream tradition...

Also a good story... No longer needed... Even all good ole George could say was "It was beautifully made".

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

They also discarded the importance of the Jedi temple, these dudes apparently had some intel/hopes on whatever Luke was doing but nope, their sacrifices were in vain. Luke was just feeling sad at some rock in the middle of nowhere but why the hell would he leave a map then? :lol

I wish they had dropped Maz Kanata entirely, any creature from TPM has way more charm than this abomination of a character.

Yeah, I wish Chewbacca was more than a prop for RJ and Crazy Kathy to add some cheap jokes. The Wookie deserves better, I want to see him wreck some ****.

Anything else??

- Anticipation for - and needing burning questions answered by - the next episode (whether you liked TLJ or not)
- The idea that the Resistance should be larger than the number that fits in a minivan
- Luke Skywalker

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

A better question is, What did we gain from TLJ??

In no particular order....

-The Resistance's first Martyr, the Legend of Purple Hair, the Vice Admiral no one in the Resistance even new existed!!
-Rose
-Titty Sea Cows
-more force sensitive slaves (poor broom boy just left, maybe he's the next chosen one like Anakin was & Rey will return for him)
-crystal foxes
-horse things
-the coolest casino scene ever seen in a movie!!! (so many awesome new aliens!!)
-jedi can survive and fly through space
-force skyping
-jedi training never again needed (just boring mindless filler anyway, who needs it?)
-a really intimidating First Order general

still thinking.... so many awesome things/characters introduced that will become timeless like Star Wars itself.

Why is Simon Pegg the lorekeeper for everything nowadays? I guess since all the reboots of Star properties go to Abrams, Pegg knows about everything.

Knights of Ren

Ah yes, of course!

Has Pegg expressed an opinion on TLJ?

Speaking of JJ cling-ons, best thing about TLJ? No Snap Wexley!

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Small but vocal minority? we'll see about that come next movies box office. They really think the majority loved this movie. It's already been forgotten.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Writer asserts that people who don't like TLJ are "a small but vocal minority of fans who took offence at any positive portrayal of Luke Skywalker and the inclusion of attractive women in the story."

See how easy that was? Just add a few words and you're speaking for the other end of the spectrum.:horror

And this writer really isn't following the Disney "How To Write about the Alleged Backlash to Last Jedi" worksheet that has been issued to all online news sites - the worksheet's point #7 very clearly states:

7. Always refer to those who didn't like Last Jedi as "fans" - maintain usage of quotations around the word fans throughout the article, and ALWAYS preface it with terms such as "so-called" and "small but vocal."

*Coherent work building and narrative.
*Taste and sophistication.
*A middle part of a trilogy which rebooted the storyline for no apparent reason and undid everything that worked about the first one.

Seriously it makes me pretty angry when I read this PR ********. I'm not a sexist - a fanboy or an ******* - and I had major problems with this cheese fest Disney.

People didn't hate TLJ because Luke was an *******, people didn't hate TLJ because of it's female characters. People didn't hate TLJ because of it's 'creative and surprising reinvention of SW'.

They hated it because it was badly written, cheesy and actually pretty boring (Holdo and Leia and POO - seriously). Nothing of worth happened in nearly a 3 hour movie. Where was the plot progression? Snoke dies, Kylo is leader - that's not even a dramatic way to close the second chapter. But it's complete disregard for the overall story arc is it's most fatal error. Rey is a nobody - great moment - I actually liked that. But there goes the storyline for a dramatic moment. Smoke dies - cool moment - but there goes the storyline. It's a very stupid movie that doesn't believe in it's own universe.

RJ seemingly wrote this movie as a structure to have "cool moments" with little thought about what comes after - that's ****ing hilariously bad writing.

That opening crawl on Episode 9 has a lot of work to do to regenerate interest.
