Just makes sure the frame opening its 24 x 36, the first one I got was a tad too small , you might want to bring it with you so you can check that it will fit.

I left it at work so I could do just that right after I get off tomorrow. I might see if I can get someone there to frame it for me because I'll be piss scared that I'd mess it up :monkey1

Just to reiterate what's already been stated, Jerry's print is absolutely mindboggling. I don't actively collect art, and to be honest, most of the prints I saw at C4 either didn't interest me from a composition standpoint or there was something that just looked off to me that kept me from being totally excited about it.

The Rood print was a perfect example of this. I loved everything about it EXCEPT the center of focal attention. The Luke likeness is really off to me (personally) and it is really detracting (not to take anything away from any of the artists - I certainly couldn't do better and they are all extremely talented). What sets Jerry's work above the rest is his flawless execution and his likenesses, which are some of the best I have ever seen. Period. And I'm really not a prequel fan. Trust me. This print will be in demand for years to come and the price is neve going to be any cheaper than it is right now. If you are on the fence, do NOT hesitate. You won't be sorry.

It's not "Star Wars", but its still cool as all hell (plus it's art by Dave Dorman).

I present to you one of my favorite new prints (of one of my favorite childhood characters)... DESTRO:

While looking through my C4 pics again I came upon the pic of Adam signing some of my stuff and realized that the Slave Leia directly behind him (in the middle) is the one from his SDCC cover. I believe the han on the lower-right is as well (the SDCC cover features Luke, Han, and Leia):

mine too....love it!

Can someone please give me an impression of the Seeley print that's seen it in person. Most importantly, how is the Luke likeness? I think I'd like to try to find the 13x19 since that's more in my budget.

The glass takes away a bit of the detail in this pic but it is still decent enough to post. I can't believe some of these are still available at SWS.com.

I'm sure the availability of some of the pieces has more to do with their size and price than the quality of the piece, no matter how much you like it, $150 for a print could seem much to some people, it was even a close call for me, but I'm feeling better and better about the choice. I'm sure for some too, framing pieces is a factor.

Can anyone answer, roughly how much it costs to frame one of these larger prints?

Price for me. When it comes down to it, I'll spend my cash on toys. I try to get other things (posters/DVD's/food) but man, toys and statues dominate me. I'm a sucker. I love tons of those prints, I'm having a hard time picking just 1, and I can only get 1.

This one is fortunately a standard size 36 x 24. It's the most common poster size and any decent framing store should have plenty of options for you. You can find a decent poster frame for really cheap or go all out and get a nice wood frame and glass for around $75-100. I don't think you need to go all out for this but if you have the $$$, it'd be worth it. It's the other prints that are gonna be ass kickers. Luckily for me I made a friend at Micheals today and he said he'd give me 50% off custom framing (Adam's Leia) when I bring it in.
