This one is fortunately a standard size 36 x 24. It's the most common poster size and any decent framing store should have plenty of options for you. You can find a decent poster frame for really cheap or go all out and get a nice wood frame and glass for around $75-100. I don't think you need to go all out for this but if you have the $$$, it'd be worth it. It's the other prints that are gonna be ass kickers. Luckily for me I made a friend at Micheals today and he said he'd give me 50% off custom framing (Adam's Leia) when I bring it in.

Thanks for sharing, I'll be going to my local Michael's when my unique sized prints come, not necessarily expecting any favors, but I think they'd offer a cheaper rate than some places.

Can someone please give me an impression of the Seeley print that's seen it in person. Most importantly, how is the Luke likeness? I think I'd like to try to find the 13x19 since that's more in my budget.
Seeleys is awsome, but the bad news is he sold out of the 13 x19 right at the end.

Seeley is amazing. I have it thanks to Mark, and IMO it's the best likeness of Luke ever. Not to mention just a total bad ass pose and representation of him.

I've decided to pass on the Seeley print. I really like it but I need to try to save a bit of money in order to get some of the CE prints I really want.

that's much better than the official movie poster they went with

I semi agree with you on that one. It overall does look better yes, but I'm a fan of consistency and I like that the Special Edition and PT posters were all done by the same artist with a consistent layout and style, they're all stories that go together so it's much better when the poster art makes it feel like a collection.

All that means is that Jerry needs to do paintings of the other five episodes so we *do* have a consistent theme of that quality. ;)

Actually, he only needs to do 3 more:

Nice as those are, he'd still need to do 5, those 2 are great but don't fit the One Sheet style of the ROTS piece.

Yep, that's what I was referring to. And as fantastic as the ANH litho by Jerry is, it loses a lot by not having Luke more prominent. He was the film's main character after all.

I know that statement is totally unbiased

I love the CE litho, probably even more than the CIV one. I'm trying to figure out if I have the funds to get it if one becomes available. Thank god for the 3 pay period in August :monkey1

Even the composition is different from a typical release poster format, where the ROTS piece really falls into that style. I love all the pieces I saw on Jerry's site, being an OWK fan, I love how Alec Kenobi is done in his ANH piece.

Oh yeah, the likenesses and 3D look to the action and explosions is unbelievable.

ok... so this art isn't REALLY mine; it's Adam's. On the left is an original John Van Fleet painting. The right, an original Mark Chiarello. On the shelf below, I believe both 1:6 scale Obi Wans are customized by Adam...

Dammit! Wheel of Drink or no, I would have been down for that. :chew
