Just got this and pulled it out of the box...

A quick shot and a few thoughts.

Way better than I expected. The body proportions seem better than the HT ESB version. The Anakin reveal sculpt is really good and definitely not as garish and overblown as I thought it might be. The movable eye really adds to it. Poses well. The clean helmet is beautiful, again, light years ahead of the HT ESB one.

The only downer (so far) is the yucky material for the cape (and no wires). Doesn't smooth out or lay particularly well. This is especially true of the kama skirt.

I really hated the show, but the figure looks really cool and acts like a visual bridge for Vader, part of a cool progression of the character. I'll think of it more as a "mythos" type figure instead of something featured from that disappointing show.

Anyone else's have relatively weak ankle pegs? He always wants to fall forward or back. Anything I can do there?

Also, the kama and cape don't seem to drape very well lol. Any suggestions for better ones?
Any way to get the head to look down a little bit at all?

Good luck getting any neck movement out of him. The helmet and chest armor of any Vader makes it very difficult. I'm starting to wonder if he was ever able to look down in the movie costume. Did he just lean down with his upper torso? At least he was able to turn his head, unlike Keaton's Batman.

The kama on the OWK never looked right to me. It seemed a little short. I prefer the drape of the ESB kama, but is that drape or just that it got closer to the floor? Not sure. You could try a water treatment on the kama and see if that helps.
