That Boba Fett ____ pisses me off, it's like he broke the 4th wall! :gah:

That wasn't a new thing in SW though. In ANH right before R2 and C-3PO part company on Tatooine there's a close up of R2 turning and looking at the camera.

Then in TESB on Hoth when 3PO thinks he's being left behind he turns to the audience and says, "How typical," before Han opens the door and grabs his arm.

That's different. Clearly different. And I won't argue semantics with you. Good day sir.

Lucas WINS again, keeps SW in our hearts and minds!

Go Team Lucas :yess:

Quiet Skiman jr. :wink1:

Just got this in the mail. No desire to open it tbh. :(

9 awesome coasters? :dunno

I will say I was surpised how much I liked Episode I. I just finished the Phantom Menace, way better than I remembered. Some DNR but overall pretty nice, I remembered why people like Darth Maul. So glad Doug Chiang wasn't back for AOTC or ROTS. And the Michael Mann digital shots are ass, I'm talking to you night scene on Tatooine and the cockpit scene aboard the Trade Federation control ship. My 3 year old could care less, he'd rather watch the Padawan Menace (or Lego Star Wars as he calls it). Btw, the Padawan Menace is AWESOME! Great deal for 13 American.

I just finished reading the making of star wars, and at the end Lucas was a bit upset because Fox releasedthe movie while he was still editing it. He goes on to mention that what was shown was not his "full" vision of the movie. So I guess that all of these tweaks and revisions are his way of getting the story the way he wants it.

ROTS end battle of Anakin vs Obi and Sidious vs Yoda had like 6,000 lightsaber swings and connects, jumps galore, fast action and crazy dynamic backdrops with insane over the top CGI effects, cool.

Yet I still find myself preferring the slower more elegant battle between Vader and Luke from ESB, 31 years ago :dunno

Anyone else?

I find the lightsaber duel at the end of TPM to be the best mix of action and finesse.

Yeah. Too bad 1970's film technology didn't allow them to stack a couple of extra rocks in front of R2-D2 when originally shooting that scene.
