lol Glad to hear it.I dislike the changes as much as the next person but I got to admit I still get that same excited little kid feeling when the music hits and the movie begins.

very few things now a days can still make you feel like a kid and enjoy escaping into your imagination from reality even for an hour.

Just finished Ep 2.

Only real improvement in this one is how they changed Padme's dialog after she falls out of the clone ship. After being unconcious, instead of bouncing up and saying a chipper "yes" when a clone asks her if she is alright, now she says "uh huh" and groans.

Oh and Schmi Skywalkers added screams to Anakin's dreams is a big improvement too.

Tomorrow is Empire Strikes Back day.

Move as close as you can and engage those star destroyers at point blank range! :panic:

We won't last long against those Star Destoryers. :monkey1

Wait until she goes to bed early and surprises you with a Dutch Oven. :lol

I have this suspicion that somehow, this is not the first time a picture of a dutch oven has graced this forum.

Any chance of GL making a sequel to the OT with MH, HF and CF onboard for one last hurrah with maybe even other OT actors involved.

Or do we have a better chance of being hit by a comet.

I like 3PO but he's annoying in the 5 full movies he's in.

Agreed. He and R2 were always the "Laurel & Hardy" of the series--the comic relief--and Lucas assumed everyone dug that same type of comedy. As a kid I never even liked 3PO. Best part for me was when 3PO got blownup and Chewie had to carry him. ;)

I really think its the films fault, not Jake for the terrible part.

I'm sure he's a fine actor and could have been good in the role. But with lines like "Are you and angle?", "Yippeee!" and "Master Qui-Gon, I was wondering... what are Midicholrians?" he did not have much to work with :lol

It doesn't help his defense when he was notoriously known as a little s___t in the interview circles.

Hearing what actors have to say, George Lucas doesn't know how to direct actors. He doesn't understand. He doesn't relate to them. Add to that how he is surrounded by people who are too scared to say "no" and you have what he have and it is what it is.

:exactly: Read too many interviews echoing this!

I would definitely be down for an animated trilogy following the OT. The thought didn't sound appealing at first, but I was surprised at how much I liked the animated Han/Chewie short.

I would be too. Perhaps they will tackle that after the Clone Wars cartoon. I'd rather that then some poorly cast, poorly written, and overpriced (so it only lasts 1-2 seasons like "Young Indiana Jones Chronicles") TV series that will be a shadow of the movie series.

I have an AOTC question that has always bugged me... maybe someone here can give the the answer I may have missed.

So, essentially Obi-Wan discovers a giant clone army that has been commissioned and created in secret. None of the Jedi are aware of this (even though its supposedly their order), but when trouble starts the Jedi are like "okay, we don't know who ordered or paid for them, but lets go ahead and use them as our main forces."

That always seemed odd to me :huh

So is there some part of this I've always missed, or is my understanding of it about right?

Pretty much right. It was vague. If I were the Jedi, I would have called for a full investigation as who the f___ commissioned them and what could have been implanted and I'd like to know more about the donor to the creation of the clones. Who is this Jango? Even after Obi Wan clashed with Jango, the Jedi seem okay using clones based on a homicidal bounty hunter.

Nope, that's exactly correct.

IMO, Lucas wanted the Jedi to be as dumb as possible in the prequels.
