Well, lots of it did come out looking awesome.
Oh I agree, I was just making a joke. And I agree at how much improved (and more enjoyable) TPM is now with this current blu-ray release.

I think you mean less sucky.
the main reason that some people dont like the pod race is because of little anakin i bet
Not me. It's the pacing. It totally slows the movie down.
We must ack quickwee!
George: "Imagine you're riding around this beautiful field on a big tick. Annnnndd... ACTION!"
Hearing what actors have to say, George Lucas doesn't know how to direct actors. He doesn't understand. He doesn't relate to them. Add to that how he is surrounded by people who are too scared to say "no" and you have what he have and it is what it is.
That was CG though--here's the funny part, if you listen to the commentary, they say that scene was one of the hardest if not the hardest in the whole movie, just trying to get a CG Anakin to look realistic on top of a physically impossible cow creature.
He really shouldn't have directed the movies, or written them. He should have just come up with the concept and then handed it off someone else and just produced the films. He does much better that way. In the Making of Star Wars book he even notes that he hates writing and directing. He should just do what he enjoys, coming up with the concepts and editing.
As far as acting goes, Jake Lloyd > Hayden Christensen.
CGI was so heavily used that Obi-Wan riding the dragon is only half of the actor, from waist down it's all CGI!
As far as acting goes, Jake Lloyd > Hayden Christensen.
You mean I get to go with YOU on your STARSHIP?!?
As far as acting goes, Jake Lloyd > Hayden Christensen.
"Sandstorms are very. Very. Dangerous."
You're just posting examples of bad writing, not line delivery. Christensen and Portman struggled to make bad lines sound decent, but Lloyd got tripped up by the simplest of sentences.
