Star Wars: The Force Awakens (12/18/15)

Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher have said negative/horrible things about the Original Trilogy. So did Alec Guinness in his prime (prime being alive of course)! How about Anthony Daniels? The dude is a huge prick, ripping cast members, ripping on Peter Mayhew and poor Kenny Baker, even talking **** on Lucas. Look at him now though, taking in all the spotlight and all smiles. Wonder why.

Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure I've seen Jake Lloyd sitting at similar tables/booths with the likes of Billy Dee and Carrie Fisher getting that autograph chump change.


Point is, the prequel actors just don't give a ****. They don't need to talk about anything. Doesn't mean they think it's those movies are bad or good nor are they happy or mad about them. I'm sure all the people involved with all 6 (soon to be 7) are sick of the Star Wars phenomenon and it's crazed fan base. Even Lucas gave up on all of it and washed his hands of the franchise, and he was the most passionate about the whole thing!

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to DiFabio again.

The new trailer today is just ****ing awesome. That dogfight ...
The thing I'm most impressed with so far is that they have really created a strong "bad guy" in the First Order, they feel cold, a real threat. Obviously reflecting nazi imagery works. Anyway nice to see some story beats and bigger visuals.

The dogfight looks pretty serious. The trailers so far portray jeopardy and drama. You're right about the First Order. What little we've seen looks nasty.

I think it looks and sounds pretty amazing.

Seems like the remnants of the Empire have gone into hiding, regrouped, and returned stronger and more menacing than before....pretty impressed so far with what I've seen. Some of the cinematography in the dogfight in that trailer looks stella.

When the comic book club I sponsor sees this trailer they're gonna plotz themselves!

They're all excited to go as a group (30 members) and I had no problem finding chaperones to help me supervise them!
