Looks good here. I could see Jedi Leia Skywalker here.

Oh yeah, she does look better there...All she has do is lose some weight and she could totally play aged leia...or don't lose the weight and play Jabba's revenge-seeking daughter.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

Unfortunately thats just ageing for you. Thats the way most normal women go. Men too although arguably to a lesser seeming extent.

Well, it's not entirely aging. With a little self-discipline, exercise, and diet, she could she shed a few pounds around the middle for an upcoming role (she doesn't have to be a swimsuit model, but enough that she could plausibly be a Jedi in the film) - actors do this all the time. Her face is still lovely and with a more flattering outfit, she would be just fine!

Why would she have to lose more weight than that? She looks great.

^but that was before the cookies.

I'm pretty sure that's a more recent photo. She's lost a good bit of weight.

Besides she's in her 50s. Christ....

It isn't just the physical aspect she is a bit loco as well.....

Are we talking Margot Kidder-level loco or...?

I think she could hold it together enough to act, still - I mean, she'd be playing a part, with scripted lines, not like she's being asked to do improv. And she seemed to do just fine on Smallville, as I recall.

To be clear, I was referring to that pic in the washed-out, not at all flattering tight, shiny black outfit. :monkey4

She looks just fine in the pic Oscorp posted! :)

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

This is the biggest movie she's been in for 30 years. Between now and filming they'll have a personal trainer to whip her into shape. LFL also has the best makeup and costume people in Hollywood. Of course there's also there's botox and plastic surgery. She'll have work done.

All of that is true for Mark Hamill as well.

Didn't know she was in Smallville. I remember her cameos in Austin Powers (she looked pretty good then as I recall, 1997), Scream 3 and Jay and Silent Bob Strike back.
