You type good accents.
-Main Mcguffin-like character who is a pivotal point in the existence of main antagonist and who is implied could aid in fixing the situation is revealed at the very end of the movie.
-One of the co-protagonists is left in a comma with a halfassed goodbye from the other protagonist and an unfinished arc.
-The other protagonist also has an unfinished arc.
-Movie literally states main antagonist still has development left, another unfinished arc.
As opposed to:
-All protagonists in ANH complete a personal arc
Yeah, a movie that shows the villain escaping is definitely more contained than one where the escape is only implied.

I'm not sure if you "got" who the three main characters were in TFA so I'll help you out. They were Finn, Rey, and Han (not Poe.) All three had completed arcs. And the villains had ambiguous off-screen escapes instead of literally watching them flee. But I'm detecting that the ambiguity of their escapes also slipped by you. And coma? Really? So ALIENS wasn't a self-contained movie? I--wait, nevermind, I'm just going to leave this one alone. Yeah, you totally, uh "owned" me or whatever. Carry on.
SyFy Channel wants their characters back.
Sigh....they really were.
Should've been IG-88 and Fett.

I wouldn't call Han a protagonist, more like a major supporting character, but ok, his death served to feed the unfinished arc of the antagonist so it's all the same.I'm not sure if you "got" who the three main characters were in TFA so I'll help you out. Aliens is a completely different scenario though, but you seem to be a bit touchy atm so ok we'll leave it a that.
Remember, Han doesn't shoot first!
He is the ONLY ONE who shoots!
Tell us again how many viewings it took you to realize that Luke's lightsaber was in the movie.
Good call. I think I need a Snickers bar or something.
