Whoa, you're getting a *new release* on blu-ray? How does that mess up your "one movie per decade" system? Does that mean Miller's Crossing just got pushed out to the 2020's?
Often joking, sometimes serious but never deliberately intending to antagonise has been my observation of the Jye.
I've still only seen TFA once. I will watch it at home at the earliest opportunity.
How many times did you watch each of the prequels in the theater? Be honest.

I know you didn't ask me but I went to see them plenty of times.
I had convinced myself that the Darth Maul fight made it a very good SW movie.
I don't know WTF I was thinking with AOTC.
ROTS I had once again convinced myself that it was salvation of what had come before because by then I knew that TPM/AOTC were disasters.
This might sound crazy but I just finished watching all the trailers for TFA and would you believe that they still give me goosebumps!
Believe me I totally get the frustrations some had with TFA, even my own after 1st viewing due to the carbon copy narrative and Han's treatment but man when you compare it to the PT you simply just accept the fact that it is a far superior movie BECAUSE of the carbon copy being thrilling in its own unique way.
Everyone is in agreement that it was the SW movie we should've got back in 99.
Rey was so very likeable.
This is a very good pointBelieve me I totally get the frustrations some had with TFA, even my own after 1st viewing due to the carbon copy narrative and Han's treatment but man when you compare it to the PT you simply just accept the fact that it is a far superior movie BECAUSE of the carbon copy being thrilling in its own unique way.
I can't help but wonder how this movie would have been received if the OT was never tainted with SE "enhancements" and the PT and CW/Rebels TV shows never came out. If it was always just the mighty OT and then...TFA. I've got to imagine that its box office would have been even higher due to not having lost however many fans on account of Lucas' ever increasing insanity.
I assume the critical consensus would have still been "better than Jedi, not quite as good as SW and ESB" but I think audiences would have devoured it up even more.
I doubt it would have been more successful without all that, one of the reasons it did so good was because it was a "palate cleanser", so I doubt the reception would've been this good if it came right off the stuff it's borrowing from. Probably would've gotten more criticism because it would be even more noticeable.
Maybe Keira Knightley and Andy Lincoln at their "Love Actually" ages could have been Rey and Poe.
Keira Knightley and Daisy Ridley are the same person, dude.

'Tis true.
