Kylo killed Han. He can never be the 'good boy'. Not even the 'forgiven boy'. He can ultimately sacrifice himself though to save Rey from the big bad evil -- just like Vader did to the Emperor -- which would at last make him as "powerful" as his grandfather which is exactly what he wants.

That my friends is JJ's great arch for the character. It was written in stone in TFA.

You're half right. You know how this **** works. Kylo killed Han, not Ben Solo!

But yeah, he's gonna sacrifice himself like his pep pep before him. Probably get a Force ghost out of it too.

Kylo is going to be the good boy of the story. Rey is gonna be the bad *****.

She got Han killed. Took Luke's lightsaber. Took the Falcon. Took Chewie and R2 as her sidekicks. She's going to take Luke's training and then get him killed. Then she'll kill Ben. Leia will die alone and childless.

That would be the only thing that would make this interesting.

That seems to be the most popular theory but that would be lazy for Ep. VII-IX just be a rehash of Vader. Plus, all the "elitist" fans will probably complain about how "it was so obvious" anyway :lol

I'm sure Disney can come up with a better arc for Rey and Kylo. Plus, there's no redeeming the person who killed Han Solo. Why would you half-*** someone who did that by taking the lazy way out with another redemption?

I don't know, looking back, Han Solo was kind of a ****** character, and TFA didn't do him any favors, so if Kylo had pain in his heart for killing him, there might be some redemption for him.

I think I'm among the elitists, and back when TFA came out I also said that Rey being bad would've made everything so much more interesting but it didn't happen, so if it were to happen now, I would count myself as happy.

It could very well be lazy, but there isn't anything about TFA that isn't lazier already anyway, and I don't think there's anything that Disney can do that can elevate this new SW tumblr-verse anyway, their hands are tied by their hugely broad audience.

Remove these 4 scenes:

1. Rathtar
2. Maz climbing the table interrogating Finn.
3. Finn head knodding joke with Han
4. Phasma dropping the shields so easy

Then insert another Falcon escape quality scene during the 3rd act and this movie would improve tremendously.

Yep, 1 and 4 for sure. I actually liked 2 and 3. And, yes, more Falcon, please.

The entire freighter scenario could be be redone as far as I'm concerned. I didn't like Ford's dialogue with the gangs at all. A wasted scene for Han.

I agree, 1 and 4 way more in critical need of a redo.

Absolutely about that freighter scenario, big waste of valuable screen time

Shame the execution was so poor in the PT because I always enjoyed the irony of the Jedi working for Palpatine.

Double / Triple agents always make movies more interesting, RO was wise going in that direction with dad Erso and Bodhi but it obviously could've been fleshed out a little bit better.
