They'll understand. One day, they will understand.

Agreed but I won't call them dumb and some quite frankly will never get it. Not just talking about film. Film is not about pleasing everyone, some can but most cannot and those are there to fill a niche. For ex twilight series, not made for you and me but made for women and teenyboppers and yet made hundreds of millions each and no matter how much it was bashed it was considered a success

Dex was awesome. I don't see Depp being up to snuff.

:rotfl

On the film special features, they break that whole Ewan & Dex hug sequence right down in terms of the effects used.

It was a massive undertaking to get them to cuddle on screen. :lol

:rotfl

Everything.

Dext looks like he could fight a robot in PR if he was 500 ft tall

I showed up to my dentist for a triple root canal w/o anesthesia and he gave me Attack of the Clones instead.

Most painful trip to my dentist ever.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

Interesting. I scheduled my deep cleaning to coincide with my one and only viewing of AOTC, so that the sodium pentathol would cut down on my own personal pain...

At least a little. :lol

Latest news on Mark Hamill's training regime to get him to the peak of Jedi fitness.

Mark Hamill's Trainer said:
We're training Mark seven days a week, but we're trying not to make it a repetition of the same thing every day and give him variety.

Mondays and thursdays Mark does KFC, tuesdays and fridays he's at Burger King. Wednesday, saturday and sunday Mark goes to Pizza Hut, as thats his favorite

AOTC was atrocious..TPM was actually much much better..for PT films, that is!

I still think TPM was the best of the PT. I think we were all hoping they'd get better, and instead they got worse. Of course '99 was a crazy year when Star Wars was everywhere. I still remember collecting the Pepsico cans and eating way too much Taco Bell and KFC then a human should.

Two Spring's from now(assuming it's May) it'll all be back again.

devincf: Re: JJ Abrams leaving STAR WARS. I don't think it will happen, but I'm not the only one hearing this. Conflicts are about...

devincf:... shooting location and schedule. Abrams develops things slowly and Disney needs him to rush.

Maybe Joe Johnston will be back on the table. Too bad Brad Bird is still doing Tomorrowland, of course he expressed that he wanted to do an original film this time instead.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I can't imagine that J.J would leave star wars behind!

But who knows. It'll be interesting to see how this develops.
