Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

A model?! Cool! I don't hate the CGI Falcon shots from the SEs. But a model will look cooler and they can get it to look more dynamic than the 70s. No need for all CGI.

Power plant and Mos Eisley sets built? Did I miss something?

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

Well the Falcon had to come back didn't it. You don't make an Episode VII without it.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I'm wondering if
power plant
means a return to Naboo and the possible return from the abyss of the
power plant
shaft of
Darth Maul
????????

The Falcon was as much a character as Han,Luke etc. You are right can't have episode 7 without it....but for loves sake, no "modded" parts to it etc. leave it as it was in the OT!

It will have to be all shiny and stuff on the inside for all the camera flares it will have.

I can't believe that Han hasn't tinkered or cobbled the falcon together any more in the past 30 years.. Makes it even more "a bucket of bolts." I welcome mods personally.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

It ended up being a collection piece, & he put it back in the original box he bought in to store in his basement..

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I could see Han hiding the Falcon away as he has kids and becomes a legit businessman in the cargo transport business. When the sh-- hits the fan he has a hanger door that's always locked, there's a big reveal scene the first time we see the old bird again. "Dad, What the hell is that!?!" He puts on the black vest and tells them to hurry up and strap themselves in.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I want to see Han, Luke, and Leia in an old folks home, reminiscing about the good old days for two hours while playing checkers.
