Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I want to see Han, Luke, and Leia in an old folks home, reminiscing about the good old days for two hours while playing checkers.

STAR WARS EPISODE VII: A NEW HIP

Leia tries to save Sith Luke as the Clone Emperor watches from his throne chair in the background.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I could see Han hiding the Falcon away as he has kids and becomes a legit businessman in the cargo transport business. When the sh-- hits the fan he has a hanger door that's always locked, there's a big reveal scene the first time we see the old bird again. "Dad, What the hell is that!?!" He puts on the black vest and tells them to hurry up and strap themselves in.

Yes I like it, it needs a intro. The only think would change about the falcon is more weapons maybe, still needs to look the same inside and out

E7 takes place the day after end of E6. :rotfl

Soo.. you're saying the new film is an adaptation of Truce At Bakura?

Makes sense. the new jurassic park movie is slated to be out the same time. capitalize on it using technocolored Dinosaur people.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I can't believe that Han hasn't tinkered or cobbled the falcon together any more in the past 30 years.. Makes it even more "a bucket of bolts." I welcome mods personally.

Makes sense, but overall it shouldn't be too far from what we're familiar with. I think a new radar dish on the top would be a nice update since Lando clipped it off in the Battle of Endor.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I'm pretty sure that Solo is an important guy in the Rebel Alliance/New Republic following the OT, having saved the Galaxy and being married to a princess and all. I'm sure the Millenium Falcon has benefited from that, and will be restored to practically brand new condition, and upgraded out the wazoo.

I don't think Han would've wanted it touched. He seems like that billionaire grease monkey type who regardless of how much money he has, only wants to work on his hot rods with his best friend while appreciating the car's antiqued exterior.

Well, even if he hasn't beautified it, you can be sure he suped it the hell up. Maybe it will make the Kessel Run in just 8 parsecs now. :lol

Parsecs are a unit of distance, not time. :wink1:

Apparently the EU fixed Lucas' booboo by stating that the path Han took for the Kessel Run was the shorter, more dangerous one. :lol
