I'm actually surprised at how much Trek trivia I've retained over the years, because while I'm somewhat of a fan - I only own TOS, TWOK & the 2008 film.

That said - back in the day, I religiously made time for the TV shows when they were on - all of them. Looking back I'd say DS9 was my fave. :)

Anyway - STAR WARS!!! :rock

Sorry if this has been answered already, but is it true that Daniel Day Lewis was spotted having dinner with George Lucas and a big producer of the new Star Wars? I know even if it is a yes its all speculation but I would kill to see DDL in Star Wars, then again it is a bit to mainstream for him.

My daughter is named Jaina. Does that make me a EU fanboy? I hope not, i just thought it was a lovely and different name. Man, she's going to get all kinds of shyyt in school (perfect timing Junior high in 2015) if Jaina Solo is in any of these movies.

One thing i hope JJ don't do is introduce a rainbow of different colored lightsabers into this. I was pissed when SJ whined and GL gave in and gave him purple. Be nice to just see red green blue. (although purple will be back cause it's canon now) Although maybe LS crystals are still rare in the time period. (thought i read lukes green was synthetic cause of the rarity in the timeline)

Why? It was so dumb seeing just blue and green and red. How unimaginative. Lightsabers are made of light and light has an entire spectrum of colors. Your word rainbow fits the bill for me. I want to see red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Heck, I want to see teal, pink, lime green, electric blue, and silver while we're at it. What a lost opportunity the Geonosis Battle was....

Ford as Solo is money is the bank for Disney. They'll pay and he knows it.

Actors make comments about "I'm not sure..." as bargaining tools. Ford also knows the fans will put pressure on Disney/LFL.

yeah he's a very clever guy, i think he's just working on getting the best deal he can, he got $65 million for crystal skull, so i say give him at least $150 million, for this.

i dont want to see the sequel to the return of the jedi without Han solo, pointless..
