I'd be fine if it was a Dredd-like movie with him just showing how persistent he is when trying to acquire his bounty. Would be pretty cool seeing him in fresh gear too, and see him get his dent.

Wouldn't the movie just be called Dredd 2. :lol

Yea maybe show Boba actually do something besides follow Han's ship to Bespin and fall into a worm.

But he looks 'cool' right? right?

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

If Lucas was making this , it would be about an 12 year old Boba Fett and a 7 year old Sarlacc Pit.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Is the worm Natalie Portman?

Cause I would push Boba out of the way and jump in.

Not really, there's two book series around that time, and having it later means they will have to come up with something simple to explain the time in between ROTJ and the new movie, probably not the EU stuff because there's too much that happened.

Opening scroll

With the Fall of the Empire, and Rise of the Galactic Alliance, Peace has finaly come to the Galaxy. Luke skywalker Has dedicated his life to resstoring the jedi Order. Once more The gaurdians of Peace and justice in the Galaxy has assumed their vigil. But Dark Times Lie ahead....

Or something vague like that. keep it simple, keep it vague. Creating a new mess of information to cover 30 years of content is unnessacaraly complex. Spending time trying to create that will take away from the quality of the finished product. the LOGICAL, REALISTIC expectation, is that Abrams is just gonna take what's already thre, and build off it, possibly starting before the events of Crucible, and considering that story noncanon.

OR the events of Crucible and it's related books get moved back a little in the timeline.

I'm not expecting to see any of those stories adapted to the screen, that's not going to happen.

But I anticipate the naysayers who are expecting it to all get tossed out on its ear are going to be dissapointed as well.

Best Case Scenario, is to keep it simple, and Vague. the Haters can keep on hating, and ignore the books. And those who've helped keep SW alive by reading said books don't get cast aside either.

Wasn't he burped out just after falling in?

If you take the EU short story, he spends months trying to get free from the tentacles restraining him. when he eventualy DOES get his arms free, he rigs his jetpack to explode, Hoping that at the very least, it'll kill him and the sarlac, ending the torture.

The Blast knocks him clear, AND kills the sarlac. But he's dehydrated, weak, and dying from his wounds. Lucky for him, He's found and nursed back to health by a moisture farmer who was in the area, and came to see what the explosion was.

( YES, I KNOW the Moisture farmer was Dengar, who had retired from bounty hunting. )

I see a lot of this in relation to the EU. What's so stupid about it? Doesn't seem all that far fetched for Star Wars :dunno
