Having a hard time deciding between posting pictures of Yarna, or Expanded universe things. Can't tell which you want..

I must be honest, I haven't read post-NJO stuff. NJO was wrapping up as I grew weary of SW related things due to watching the movies multiple times a year, being a completionist action figure collector, and my distaste for the PT. There's a topic for EU in the written word section. I'm going to head over that way and see what I should go back and read. But I don't wanna invest time into stories that are going to be retconned...

I was born in 82, so I missed the Original Trilogy in theatres. Growing up, i must have worn out about 10 VHS copies of each movie.
When the Novels started getting published, I DEVOWERD them. Growing up, the Books and The Dark Horse Comics WERE MY Star wars.
Long Road trips with my dad were accompanied by Star Wars Audio books and radio dramas in the car.
I've Lived this stuff forever. I know it backwards and forewards, and the concept of it getting excised completely is unthinkable to me. Going to guess it's similar to how the OT purists feel about the Special editions
So for me, knowing that Disney is going to keep some of it is a small personal victory to me, as well as a huge sigh of relief. It's been a huge part of my growing up, and i've got tons of positive memories tied to it.
I'm not even going to pretend it's all great. some of it is pretty questionale, to downright awful. So I'm quite eager to see what happens moving forward.

Am I understanding correctly that you have a pic of your wife and daughter with Carrie Fisher? Pretty cool. Also agreed on the shot you posted. I must have that saved in 10 different folders all over my computer. She looks stunning in that.
