"Smash burger, Marlboro, Camel, Olive Garden, Benson&Hedges, a jedi craves not these things"

You wanna badmouth addicts? What about someone who's fiending so bad for a cigarette, he's picking other people's butts out of an ash tray to smoke. :monkey4

Seriously?! I know he's not exactly rolling in money, but is he really doing so bad he cant afford to buy a pack of cigarettes and has to resort to digging through refuse to feed his habit?

Maybe he's a "Freegan"

That's not even getting into all the lovely things you can get from doing that, like herpes, mono, hepatitis, meningitis, etc. :panic:

Well that explains why his voice got so umm... grindy sounding.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

This thread is starting to make Rory sad.

I love Star Wars! Those are older pictures of Mark. Now he's looking great, things are looking up and this movie is going to rock!

How's that? :panic:

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

If GL had any foresight he would have made all the PT Jedi on the Council morbidly obese so Mark and Carrie could look like badasses again by comparison.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

If this franchise had any integrity it would have ended on a high note after the 1980s. :lol

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

For a franchise which (I assume you believe) has no integrity, it sure does have powerful legs that show no sign of tiring anytime soon.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Mechanical legs ran by the fumes of commercialism and exhausted toy lines.

It's more machine now than man.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

The stress of people's expectations and the weight of Disney's demands with the money they're throwing into this aren't something people can dismiss when judging Carrie or Mark. Neither have been in the spot light like this for 3 decades unlike Harrison, who's never been out of the spot light. What ever they've done, they've done and its all about the next 5 years. People need to let them get on with producing an ending worthy of the original trilogy's legacy.

For every article from dubious source's or cheap journalism i grow more and more confident that the trilogy will not only be a success but a fitting ending to the characters. Everything's being put in place, thats the right people and the using right methods to make this an exciting time to be Star Wars fan.

Since when do the characters need a fitting ending? We got closure 31 years ago.

I'd love for Disney/Abrams to somehow make another conflict with another ending somehow equally satisfying to the OT but it certainly isn't necessary. I think the best thing we can hope for is that these new films "cancel out" the PT to get SW back to having more good films than bad. Fingers crossed.
