You must really love SW like you do Batman, otherwise man unless ya got paid for this, I just dont see one getting into it so much. Third possibility is that youre nuts but I just dont believe that...yet... ...This is a fantasy film in the most extreme sense and that's where it will remain in my mind. A non sci fi /fantasy film to me should get more scrutiny, not freakin SW.. no offense.

Unless I'm missing something and Dave is paying folks to participate in here (in which case, I feel jipped), none of us are getting paid to contribute on here. In the scheme of things, why should we bother posting pics of our stuff or discussing things we're passionate about? Why sign up at all?

Agree but it's only hypocrisy if those who didn't like the film and bought stuff. We know that many liked/loved the film prequels. Many bought things for their children too. I bet Some closet SW fans exist too I bet that loved it but to afraid to admit it because they might get made fun of or worse have Nam yell at them lol. I do 100% agree that Lucas should not apologize for what he gave us. What's done is done. I'm glad he gave us IJ and SW

I don't think that those who enjoyed the PT and are buying products from it would be hating on Lucas for it. The others... that's on them.

No I'm not. I do wish I was working more and not on the freakin net. but man I know I'm not thinking or concerned as hard as you are about this film...I never complained that you are posting, just wondering how a guy can post so much on this. make some money, write a book...your 16760 posts(Some of them quite lengthy) I'm sure can if edited properly can form a good thesis as to why's and why not's in relation to SW as well as Batman. You make me curious about you ..lol...

If you despise something so much that you literally hate the man who made it, why would you want to own something that's only going to remind you of it? That **** NEVER made any sense to me.

The exception for the SW films would be the boxed set, which, for obvious reasons gets the same exemption that the Indiana Jones boxed set gets. Purchasing them separately though, would be hypocritical unless you're clinically diagnosed as OCD.

Bottom line for me before I am off the air...I most likely will like the film just because it's SW...JJ to me did good(not perfect) in regards to ST. If these new films are in that league it will be hard for me to hate em...and arent we all real curious as to what we will get on screen...good night folks...cant believe 870 pages of thread on a film freakin manymanymany moons away

I'm pretty sure that was my attitude going into TPM that first time. But it turns out sometimes crap is just crap. AOTC and ROTS being even smellier crap.

I've seen quite a few gungan sith lords. You're common as muck! Accidentally killing so many people in hilarious slapstick ways that they made you a sith by default.
