Honestly? I don't know if it's real or not. I want to see EPISODE VII Luke, and that does look kinda badass, but if his reveal is being left until the actual movie is released, I hope it's not.

Hello there.

Ok, I know I'm a terrible person. I know that all Star Wars fans are brethren and all that, (and I know I'm late to the party with this comment - and apologize if this observation is old news), but since the TFA -T2 came out a couple months back, I've been watching a lot of the fan reaction clips on YouTube because it's a lot of fun to see people as excited as I am about this next chapter of the Star Wars universe that I've loved since I was a kid finally being rolled out to all of us needy fans.

Here's the terrible person part. Time after time watching these clips, I wind up shocked and confused (and more than a little appalled) at the number of people who have NO IDEA that it is Luke Narrating the trailer. I watch their faces expecting to see recognition at the voice, excitement on their faces that we're actually hearing Luke himself speak on tailer for a NEW Star Wars movie for the first time in 32 years! Aaaaaaannnnd...........Nothing!

So, okay, maybe a few folks haven't screened ROTJ in a few years and don't instantly identify Mark Hamill's voice (even though this in not the 32 years older Hamill, but actual audio from ROTJ, for God's sake!), but ok...I'll let it go. Shouldn't take them too long to put it together after the next few clues are given (and when I say "clues" I mean direct blows to the top of the head!), right?? WRONG!!

My father has it (visual = Vader's melted helmet and breath screen). Nothing
I have it (visual = cyborg hand affectionately touching Artoo). Not a thing
My sister has it (visual = Anakin/Luke's original lightsabre being passed into a woman's hand. Nothing (I think I saw one guy drool a little)

Have these people been doing lead paint tastings on the weekends??

Where I expected breathless joy, or at least respectful recognition, all I got were glassy-eyed stares and furrowed brows with some even wondering aloud, "I wonder who [this stranger] talking is? And I wonder who this "sister" is he's talking about?"

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!?? Who are these people?? They seem awfully excited to see a trailer for the latest entry into a saga they apparently have no knowledge of!!!! Is it just me??

Now EVERYONE goes crazy for Han and Chewy at the end, but really? I mean REALLY??

I mean, I know I'm a horrible person, as I said before, and I apparently have WAY too much time on my hands, BUT REALLY???

End of rant. If anyone cares to try to talk me down, I'd be grateful, or I'd understand perfectly if you just decide to put me on your "Ignore Posts" list...I get it.

.....but seriously, really?

With the announcement today of Gwen Christie attending the GoT panel at SDCC on the friday, I assume it a given that she will be present at the TFA panel on the saturday.
Looking forward to hear her comments on the film and her character, Captain Phasma.

He's looking more badass than Hayden these days. Time to recut him into the prequel special editions...

The swear they heard him scream "Yippee" as he drove by and "Nooooooo!" when arrested.

Fear leads to anger leads to hate which of course leads to hi speed chases.
An unknown black hooded old man with a cane posted bail and was heard cackling "Good good release your lead foot it makes you stronger"

Perhaps, though they may only have the main cast members on the panel. That's been the trend so far.

Not expecting Empire brilliant, but needs to be on par with Jedi and also destroying the prequels, Disney spent a lot of there pocket money acquiring the little lucasfilm company and this little franchise, if this bombs pretty big disaster for them...
