I'm probably the only person on the planet that doesn't give a **** about all this, and I love Star Wars. By looking at the trailers and direction, I don't think it's for me. I don't see how people are buying into the toys and merchandise without seeing the movie first.

DiFabio is entitled.

Oh and js if this movie sucks expect a lot of bombings at Disney Land and World with Nerds jihading screaming "ALLAH ACKBAR!"

:lol

Pretty much. Lemmings. :lol

Deadline: While inconvenient for moviegoers, the news has to feel like victory to Disney and Lucasfilm, demonstrating the continuing pop cultural and market power of the franchise many abandoned after less-than-universally beloved prequel trilogy ended in 2005.

Notice the continual reference to the unsatisfactory PT.

Bit of a simplistic throwaway line. Some of a certain again may have "abandoned" it, but the franchise has been chugging along just fine with the Clone Wars, merchandising etc. Admittedly Lucas' future plans weren't as ambitious as Disney's now are.

Why are you still bringing up the PT?

Hear, hear!

Tho I didn't watch the last trailer cuz I'll have to see the film anyway.

I mean there's gonna be some hate for this movie. It's gonna either do so well like avatar and be praised by everyone and loved only for the hype to fade a bit and people start to hate it, or it can do well with the ga and not the fans. Then it can do well with everyone but only few dislike it. Who knows.

TFA can not possibly be as great as we are hoping it is- all depends on what each of YOU consider a great SW movie is..some are gonna be happy if it is better than any move in the PT...some are expecting ESB proportions...expect it to fall somewhere in between

Why are you still bringing up the PT?

Because evidence constantly comes up proving yours and SKINT's assertion that just a few angry internet trolls didn't like the PT. I am obligated by my fiduciary duty to provide evidence to that argument.

Bit of a simplistic throwaway line.

Yes, and so was the other post a few days ago, and the mention live on CNN the other day; but it does show a general consensus of the PT that was sharply criticized by a few people who believe that most people actually love the PT.

The truth is out there.

Only people I'm aware of who actually enjoy the PT or who go as far as choosing it over the OT are kids who are under the age of 13 or adults who are under the influence of drugs or voodoo.

I think most Freaks in this thread are under the influence of drugs, voodoo or the ladies of The View. :lecture :monkey3
