Please do yourself a favor and assimilate this masterful analysis of auteur Riam Jomsoms epic.
You must have a low tolerance for good movies, no wonder you watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Wait!! It was posted on YouTube by some random person whose opinion carries no more weight than absolutely any one else's...so everything in it must be true!
Yes, one bolsters ones irrelevant opinion by posting many videos of other peoples irrelevant opinion.

That's essentially the internet.

Some of you get so upset when one post a video or just criticizing TLJ. Jeeziz lol. Was t even a bashing type video if you’d watch it
It's Star Wars anyways, people are still complaining about Return of the Jedi and The Phantom Menace. No one hates Star Wars like Star Wars fans. Plus, people have been saying the franchise is ruined since 1980 with ESB. Tons of people hated that movie when it was released, now its considered the best. Time heals all wounds. But Star Wars fans can be extremely toxic and will never let things go. People still bully Jake Lloyd over a roll in 1999.I understand your point; but please remember that it's been a whole f'ing year since TLJ came out, and people are still posting YouTube clips complaining about stuff like Luke drinking milk from a sea cow. That's unreal! At what point can the discussion here officially move beyond the same tired YouTube talking points and actually stay substantive by having people state and defend their own opinions?
It's been a year of going back and forth about this insane perception that Rian Johnson was out to make a Star Wars movie that would divide the fanbase. A whole year of going back and forth about how he "*****" people's childhoods (. . . somehow). And the YouTube vids have been feeding this all along.
And here's the kicker: all of this fury for an entire year about Rian Johnson ruining the franchise, and yet just last week there was a discussion in one of these threads about how TLJ basically changed nothing from where we were at the end of TFA. I do think TLJ changed things quite a bit, but I still find it hysterically funny that after a year's worth of angry YouTube vids and comments, the question being asked is: "did TLJ actually change anything?"
So, yeah, these YouTube clips that have basically been replacing independent thought and analysis have gotten really tiresome for some of us. For those of us who think TLJ was a pretty damn good movie, it'd be nice to actually discuss the individual scenes and storylines instead of endlessly dealing with complaints generated by YouTubers who need to be angry in order for their hate videos to get more clicks. Most of the time, the YouTube criticisms are either superficial or easily refuted by actually just paying close attention to the movies anyway. So it's also just lazy.

So? It’s one big hug fest in here. Let someone post a funny vid about the movie or a negative opinion for you to discuss. It’s not even a bad video. It was satire. Not even like it’s trolling. It’s a discussion forum not the last Jedi peace positive thread. Movies get made fun of all the time. The PT got it and now this movie got it. Not a big deal. Nobody is even angry. You’d know that if you watched the video.
Holy crap.
