Probably because for an entire decade Obi-Wan wouldn't shut up about how he defeated Maul by jumping over him, lol.

:lol

Annie - "You underestimate my powahhh….oh crapbaskets... there go my legs and my good arm!!!"

Honestly, I think George had to explain a way for Annie to lose both legs and his arm in battle, so that was the best he could come up with. Plus the whole having the higher ground is meant to be Obi Wan having a higher moral ground or being right...or some Snyderian symbolism. :lol

I think it would have been cooler if the fight had a small scale, no bridge collapsing and swinging around and jumping on those hovering machines like a Mario game. It would have made more sense if Obi cut one of the arms off, and Annie keeps fighting with one arm until Obi cuts the legs with one swift move later on, making Annie roll down the hill and into the lava.

*fingers in ears*

I love Empire too, up until this.

Yeah, they should have never left that main facility on the mountain side. The whole thing on the bridge, the aentena, the ropes and lava droids is too videogamey and OTT.

As a kid, I always thought those gashes in Vader’s head were from Lightsaber slashes. Would have been cool if Anakin and Obi-Wan got hits on each other. As much as I hate AOTC, I liked how Dooku got hits on Obi-Wan that weren’t severe or fatal. Never saw anything like that in any of the films except for the shoulder hit Luke gets on Vader in Empire. And I guess Finn’s spinal cut, but Jesus, he should have been paralyzed for the rest of his life after that one.

For Anakin’s left arm, could have just had Obi-Wan slice off the legs. Then later on when Anakin’s on the operating table, Palpatine sadicstically tells the surgeon he wants total body prosthesis and to lose the arm since Vader is now property of the Galactic Empire.

Star Wars as a whole is ****ing stupid. The first film captured the imagination of millions, the sequel as well but the second Vader decides to randomly exclaim that Obi-Wan never told him about his father, it just gets stupid. Every movie after that is a reaction and poor explanation to that moment.

And that is why TLJ is the worst movie in the Saga.

Until Episode 9.

"It's over, Maul - I have the low ground!"

Better question is: Why does Owen age so much in 19 years is a total mystery.

Obi-Wan too. Those twin suns musta been moider on theesa skin!

I miss some of those guys, but I saw no advantage to moving over there. And I certainly don't want to have to post in two places.

Plus, if its true how that site started up and what happened here as a result, then I don't think that's right and couldn't support it.

Bet a lot of those guys are glad to be rid of me though. :lol

Afraid of them?

I asked because that's about what they started out with many months ago.

When I started on this site, it had maybe 2,000 members. Now... over 46,000. I remember in 2008 because of the Dark Knight membership jumped to 8,000 I think. Maybe 10K. Doubled seemingly overnight. Also 1/6th took a huge leap forward with Hot Toys. The site changed a lot. It did again when Disney Wars was announced.

I'm a member over there. I started a few threads, but I haven't posted in months. It's weird posting the same opinion on the same thread on two different forums. However, one day, I'll have to make a choice, and pick a forum, so I might leave eventually.

I know.

I said earlier, like you, I didn't want to have to post in two places, or have another forum to invest in. It's bad enough the customs section is in another forum but that one is very small and manageable. And like I said, I like a lot of the guys over there, but I've already made my choice.

If you go, you will be missed.

I remember thinking on seeing ESB that all the scar were from all the battles he had defeating the Jedi....over multiple battles.....I was seriously like WTF when Obi did it all to him in 1 shot...(well except for Count DooDoo one good slash.

Sent from the inside of a giant slug in outer space.....
