the death of a person...a beloved actor and more importantly a daughter and a mother is not an equal tragedy to being disappointed by the plot of a movie.
You're right that a person's life is much more valuable than ANY movie - even the best one. I was very grieved for Carrie and her family - she meant the world to me as an actress - and don't you even dare say otherwise because you don't live in my heart. This makes what Disney did to her character even more bitter, adding insult upon death. Farce Awakens and Lost Jedi are the death of Star Wars, that's the point of the analogy. I lost Carrie... and I lost Star Wars too.
