Of course the walkers are twice the size of the largest ones in the old Empire. And no doubt their forces overall have tripled. It all makes complete sense that the destruction of Starkiller base would only increase their military might rather than being a devastating blow because they sunk so much time, money and resources into that one thing (that somehow went completely unnoticed by the Republic). I bet the Super Destroyer is now the default size for the bulk of their fleet too. There'll be an even Supererer Star Destroyer for Snoke himself.

Actually I think this is exactly correct.

They may be playing on the Rich inner Empire, versus the poor outer rim galaxies....

Problem is, we need to know how the empire survived to become a dominate force in the galaxy....we were defiantly left with the impression they were done with....

And that may be our mistake, just because Vader and the Emperor were killed it doesn't mean the resources of the Empire just vanished....

Hmmm just got back from Target. I'm actually getting a fun vibe for this movie after looking at the toys.

My kids wanted stuff so of course I couldn't let them leave empty handed. My daughter got a Funko Chewie holding a Porg and my son got a Hot Wheels Kylo Ren TIE Fighter. I didn't know the Porgs were owls. That gives them a fun Clash of the Titans feel. I like all the new ships and Speeders especially since an almost total lack of new ships was one of my biggest pet peeves about TFA.

The First Order base play set is awesome! Reminds me of the vintage Death Star play set from 1978. I thought I was gonna rag on this movie (and can definitely still see why people would) but now I think it might be too much of a fun family experience to do so. We'll see. Hell if Luke even has a RO Vader moment I may even include this new trilogy into my personal canon.

As long as they get Luke right and Leia is given a great send off the rest will be just gravy.

But those 2 items need to be perfect dammit!

If Luke gets his Vader moment I will pee in my pants.
