Yea it was. But hey I’m a guy who likes revenge of the sith as my fav so I’m probably a horrible Star Wars fan. I know liking anything from pt is considered treason to very hardcore fans.

Eff em. Being a fan of Star Wars isn’t a contest to see who’s the best, most hardcore fan. If you like it, any of it, that makes you a fan.

The prequels brought an incredible expansion of the SW universe and its complexity. The Sith were so poorly developed in the movies before the prequels. They really fleshed out Palpatine who is arguably one of the best three characters in Star Wars. The dialogue about Darth Plagueis at the opera is gold.
They are poorly executed films with bad dialogue/acting, but there is still a lot of good that came from them. Incredible ideas, lore development, designs...
The bonus features are really worth a watch. Not as good as LOTR but man, they truly give the movies a new dimension.

Also, without the prequels, we don't have Clone Wars, and Clone Wars really fleshed things out even more (not all episodes are good ofc but there is really some awesome stuff in that show).

Rogue One was a boring movie. Didn't care about ANY character, i could go on and on. Only good part was Vader.

Loved the TLJ Trailer! Can't wait for DEC.

Rogue One... Terrible?

For all its character issues, I still think Rogue One is my favorite. It's nowhere near as juvenile in tone as the rest (especially those that came out in the last 20 years), nor does it play to the audience as much. Also more artfully done IMO. Everyone I watched it with commented on how different it felt and I consider that to be a good thing. Seven movies, five decades in, and we want them all to feel the same? Pssh.

More excited for the off-shoot films at this point. Standalone stories where a director isn't as constricted by the need for tonal cohesion across a trilogy.

That's most likely a flashback to when Kylo Ren ruined Luke's new Jedi school.

What a trailer... intentionally edited to be deceptive thats for sure but it had some very striking imagery. Digging what i saw... its obvious though that snoke was talking about rey the whole time. I believe snoke wanting rey is going to piss kylo off and could lead him to turn against snoke.
I dont know what to make of luke, he seems very different then when we last saw him in jedi

Interesting, so Luke is talking about Kylo's power, while Snoke is talking about Rey's.

I keep hoping they'll make one as good as ANH/ESB... they came damn close with RO for me, and I'm happy with that.

There's always some cool stuff in the PT and TFA... but it has no longevity for me. I can't watch them when they're on. And they're always on.

But I hope TLJ will join ANH/ESB/RO...


If it fails.... my hope floats to Ep. 9... and Han Solo.
