It could be Luke sensed kylo was turning to the dark side and decided to kill him. Or, luke was the one turning evil and temporarily lost his mind, which pushed kylo away, though that doesn't explain why he sided with snoke, so that's a problem. I like the idea that Luke felt he himself was turning to the darkside, because then his self imposed exile would make sense to save the galaxy.

The "force" is like the ring in the LOTR. The best thing to do is not to use it, burn the books, and ignore it. Rey, Finn, and Poe should let the FO and the rebels kill each other.

So anyway i’m starting to see online support growing for Rey’s parents not being revealed and Snoke’s origins not being revealed as mysteries made better by keeping them a secret.

Hmm I think I can get onboard with that support because as time passes i’m also thinking keeping those 2 items in the dark has given them a greater purpose.

It’s almost like a slap in the face of the modern instant gratification generation.

How this movies got 9 critics score all across the boards, IMDB and RT.

Reminds me Ironman 3 got 9.5 from critics. A movie was such travesty. Probably Disney money too strong.

I keep thinking to myself that so many Freaks that I like enjoyed this movie... that maybe I missed something? Maybe its my fault? Maybe I should go back and see the movie again...?

But then I think of Holdo's character design, and the casting of Laura Dern, and I think: no, I'm right.

TLJ's commentary is bleak. Its revealed the first order and the resistance both engage in illegal arms deals, I guess the message to be had is that right and wrong are not so clear? This sort of ties in to obi wans 'certain point of view' lesson I guess. So I don't think it's just for force users, it seems to apply to anyone who takes a side, but what's the alternative, apathy? Oh and save the animals.

Wasn't Luke supposed to teach Rey 3 things?? Did he ever get to point 3?

And what was the plane on the salt planet with all the small ships going after the At Ats and door rammer??? I mean other then committing suicide like Finn.. Were those ship useful at all?? DId they fire a single shot.. Perhaps its something I missed.. But What did they plan on doing once they reached the New Order.??

I found the scene to be fine, it wasn’t what was needed at the moment. Because it was delivered by a female doesn’t make the message wrong.

That said, the continual withholding of info to the point of mutiny was unnecessary both in terms of Poe and story.

I found the scene to be fine, it wasn’t what was needed at the moment. Because it was delivered by a female doesn’t make the message wrong.

That said, the continual withholding of info to the point of mutiny was unnecessary both in terms of Poe and story.

I don't think the line bothered me initially either..
