Emojis, gifs and movie nonsense being discussed not the state of the world....you know dumb people talk. Normalcy.......

Goes to prove , no matter how many lives were”raped” or childhoods “destroyed” by TLJ.....some topics are just to depressing to address.

Ouch......

Here's a serious question; for people who didn't like Leia flying in space or Luke's astral projection what new Force powers would you have accepted? Anything? Or have you only ever allowed the Force to do nothing but lift things and manipulate weak minds?

Was Kylo's ability to put Rey to sleep an acceptable new power? Just genuinely curious as to what powers are okay and which ones are "too much."

I was always looking forward to seeing what the Jedi could *really* do when the PT came out and was disappointed that all we got was the lame one-and-done Force sprint in TPM.

I just don’t get how anyone who hates this movie doesn’t see greatness in Khev’s epic posts building up the perfect connections to the entire series while still acknowledging the weaker elements as the norm for all SW movies since ROTJ.

Ummm yeah just ignore DiFabio’s posts sure they’re as good as Khev’s but just don’t read them ok lol.

Yes but he's the same guy who tried to draw a direct conclusion using revenue figures from 1977 vs 2017... makes me question his logic on all fronts :rotfl

(I'm just busting his chops)

What that **** would be a must even at 1/4 scale!

And you call yourself a collector...

"Ages WTF and up" :lol

Yeah that was good. LOL!

They should have been more creative with the model number though (upper left of box).

Should have been Model: FRSH-SQZ

Oh man. I’m dying over here laughing at these replies. Well played!

Hey I know you're just messing with me but it was actually you who totally missed the point of that post you're referencing. The point was that ESB made only about 60% of ANH's earnings. Inflation is irrelevant when simply discussing percentage drop-offs. :)

Fully open to new Force powers. Hell, we saw a good deal of those with Kylo in TFA and I thought they were awesome.

What Leia did was "simply" create a Force barrier around her (nothing we haven't seen in non-canon video games) and pull herself back to the ship.
I think for a lot of people it's the way it was shot, and also how it came out of nowhere as she had never used the Force to that extent.
I didn't mind the astral projection itself, what I did mind is that it was Luke's big moment in that movie. It was awesome, but definitely not enough for me. I wanted more, way more. Call me a child, but I like ridiculous displays of power. Like when Snoke made Force lightning bounce off the floor into Kylo's face.

So yeah, totally open to an evolution of the Force and what it allows Force sensitives to do. Not open to how it was used/shown in TLJ.

If she would have gone into a prone position and out of fear of death the "force" surrounded her protected and anchored her from the blast while others were swept out into space. I could have seen if it was some type of cocoon that she didn't even mean to use but her fear created it , I would have been all for that. But then later on she force blast a door open like shes now mother ****ing Luke.

I’m on your side (mostly). I coulda done without the milk, flying and entire casino arc but overall found more good than bad.

I always wandered what “if you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can imagine” meant. We never dived too deep into the force until PT and all we got was flipping jedi. I figured there was more and I felt Lucas was too afraid to go there....man took a beating with release and sequels, the fans held the mans balls in their hands.

Disney is exploring what it means to be a Jedi and Sith. I may or may not agree with what they put before us but they r trying or giving the big fu to fans. Reading this thread fans needed to be awoke.
