Recognizing that MAN Poe was the better spark to lead the rebellion and getting him to safety while sacrificing her life to save him, genius!

She did not need to sacrifice herself... Why would she?? Dont get me wrong I am glad she did:lol. But if you have to kill yourself instead of promoting the guy... Well that is some weird logic :lol

Adolfo is the kind of alpha that we need.

The funny thing is that adolfo is not the new jye.....

Adolfo is the new difabio lol

Welcome to the family adolfo. You are greatly appreciated.

Yeah I was never salty like Adolfo so he is the new DiFabio but at only a fraction of the finesse sorry Adolfo but DiFabio is DiFabio.

You’re a very entertaining DiFabio side kick though.

You should just feel bad that the emasculated men are on the right side of the reviews ;) :)

Today: saying that emasculated men "are right."

Tomorrow: marching down Main Street wearing a v****a hat.

Just sayin..

and yes I really am just kidding around I know that this film is divisive on a number of levels;)

Again though, why is this not ok?

Again, back to the idea that if people have issues with female character portrayals, they are automatically sexist even if they don't want to admit it.
Even if they have perfectly valid points to make, still sexist. I'll let my girlfriend (who's kinda SJW actually) know.

I am vegan. I had issues with the animal rights messages in this movie. Does that make me not vegan? Do I need to pay more attention to what I eat because I'm actually eating meat every day without noticing? ****ing ridiculous.

Disliking TLJ does not make one "sexist," sexists just simply dislike TLJ...

How did they have auto pilot in episode 1, but not 8? Did they forget to install it or was it a Windows update that ruined it?

All the rebels/resistance leaders are suicidal bombers that kill themselves in these new Disney movies. Movies like Rogue One, The Last Jedi, make me really dislike the "hero" forces in these stories with how easily they throw their lives away.

What a nice message to kids. Sacrifice yourself for the greater good against the evil Empires and elites of the world by flying your vehicle into another vehicle (Holdo and a random rebel), or hit a button to get yourself BTFO for the greater good (Rose's sister, the Rogue One quip Droid and blind man with a stick), see a grenade fall and instead of trying to get away, accept your fate and look at your dead friend who also sacrificed himself (big Asian with boom boom blaster), fly into a laser beam (Finn) or concentrate too hard while you're taking a dump on a rock (Luke Skywalker). Being a martyr is fun kids!

Nothing heroic about kamikazes, ****ing rebel scum.

Luke, Mon Montha and the gang could teach jihadists a thing or two in the art of warfare. Look at all the pilots Poe just shrugs off, what did they even accomplish. LOL

:lol

I get you :)

But as I have illustrated it can go both ways.

Had Holdo been a man everyone be like holy crap what a super genius hero he was lol

Not me.. I would still be pissed off because he would be the reason for the whole Fin / Rose subplot...

Some things are just dumb and can;t be forgiven no matter who is in charge :lol

Plus I think we have all agreed that Poe had an boneheaded plan at the end of the film... Flying out unarmed ships against Monkey walkers and Tie Fighters :lol

Yeah, this seems to be the case. I do not recall anyone calling people on this thread a sexist.

But the members of The “He Man” woman haters club that I do know....hate the film. Some for clear concise well thought out reasons , the others.....well their reasons are just thinly veiled sexism. Those guys usually hate Finn and Rose as well. For similar reasons.

Of course that’s no one on this board.
