Allahu Ackbar!

:lol
You really have to wonder why is disney glamorizing this in all of their star wats movies....

Worgar joins the justice anti-Jedi-defamation league against the evil Kennedy and her nose hair specialist and pedicurist Khev....man heroes united

All the rebels/resistance leaders are suicidal bombers that kill themselves in these new Disney movies. Movies like Rogue One, The Last Jedi, make me really dislike the "hero" forces in these stories with how easily they throw their lives away. Luke, Mon Montha and the gang could teach jihadists a thing or two in the art of warfare. Look at all the pilots Poe just shrugs off, what did they even accomplish. LOL

What a nice message to kids. Sacrifice yourself for the greater good against the evil Empires and elites of the world by flying your vehicle into another vehicle (Holdo and a random rebel), or hit a button to get yourself BTFO for the greater good (Rose's sister, the Rogue One quip Droid and blind man with a stick), see a grenade fall and instead of trying to get away, accept your fate and look at your dead friend who also sacrificed himself (big Asian with boom boom blaster), fly into a laser beam (Finn) or concentrate too hard while you're taking a dump on a rock (Luke Skywalker). Being a martyr is fun kids!

Nothing heroic about kamikazes, ****ing rebel scum.

I wholeheartedly agree with you BUT everyone hates Rose for stopping Finn from his suicide to show that just because the bad guys are all about death of the individual the resistance don’t have to be that way. Poe also learned that full head on into death is not always the best solution, fighting smart and living is the solution not dying just to take out one more ship.

But no must hate Rose for stopping Finn!

Rose was saying that Holdo’s suicide was her spark for the resistance to continue living not being heroes thru suicide.

We hate her for her backwards logic.. Not for stopping Fin...

Save those we love not kill those we hate..

Exactly what he was doing..

Had Luke not showed up she would have killed everyone she loved..

Its the poor writing that makes us not like Rose..

Yeah it’s much more heroic to blow up 2 space stations full of people....cause every single one of those guys were evil.......

;)

It’s always true....from a certain point of view.....

I mean Jyn’s father could have been in one of those space stations when those murderous rebels killed all those people....

Disney needs a win after this one, the need to scrap Solo and have a K2S0/Cassian prequel or they just need pt 9 directed by Gunn and just be a full out comedy crossover with GotG.

Today: saying that emasculated men "are right."

Tomorrow: marching down Main Street wearing a v****a hat.

Just sayin..

and yes I really am just kidding around I know that this film is divisive on a number of levels;)

There are two issues you need to address. The first, is whether or not there is a radical feminist subtext within the film. People who advocate for feminism seem to think there is. For example:

Point being, if you didn't detect a feminist subtext in the movie, then that means this less-than-subtle movie went over your head. :slap No one in their right mind would watch this movie, and say to themselves, "Nope. No radical feminism there."

At which point, the question becomes whether or not you agree with the radical feminism subtext, regarding "Toxic Masculinity", "Mansplaining" and Male vanity. Do you agree with it? Sounds like you do. People who dislike the film's feminist message haven't been emasculated. You have! :lol

The film basically argues that Toxic Masculinity results from male culture's advocacy of trying to be AWESOME. Stop worrying about being awesome, and instead, be more selfless in protecting and promoting the well being of what you love. :rotfl

Yeah, that's great... so long as you don't like acquiring knowledge, innovation, art, or any other sort of accomplishment that has ever happened in the history of people. Know why? Because no one who ever accomplished anything in human history ever told themselves for even an instant, "I think I've reached a sufficient level of awesomeness." That's never happened. Successful people are driven by ambition, self-image and a desire for self-improvement.... It's what makes the world move forward. Feminists are losers, and they're teaching you and your kids to be losers. If you want to be a loser, go ahead.

However, presuming this film isn't propaganda (it is), wouldn't that mean the intention of the film was to start a discussion? So if you're for the film, you should be enthusiastic about discussing feminism. If not, then you should hate the film, because that's specifically what the film wants you to do (unless you admit it's propaganda). You can't have it both ways.

And janitors. All those potential heroes like Finn.

How did Luke rationalise killing a million? Then lose it because he considered killing Ben?

I know! SOmeone Rep this guy.. I cant because apparently I only rep you, Khen and Difabio... I don;t spread the love around enough apparently :lol

I can’t stop watching that glorious gif.

I don’t know how but I always knew Ackbar loved that big ass lol

Great post...ok I'll start the panel....question number 1 to Khev. ..How long has it been since you wanted to be a woman? Were you ever abused by a man or alien with titties? Did someone try to cut you in half in your sleep?...Jye will ask the next set of questions

Rose was saying that Holdo’s suicide was her spark for the resistance to continue living not being heroes thru suicide.

Wait! I thought Luke took credit for the spark. He said it was him.

Whose spark was it? Holdo's? Luke's? Space Leia? Rose's inane sacrifice? Finn's once-more failure to do anything heroic?

Dammit -- whose ****ing spark is responsible for Broom Boy????

Maybe they thought that since flicks like Wonder Woman fared so well (I mean seriously, what other movie made 4 freaking times its opening this year) it would work for a Star Wars flick. Problem is, people are going to see Star Wars, not Woman Wars. Its not that I'm saying theres anything wrong with anyone pushing their agenda, I'm all about freedom of expression, but do it in the proper time/space. If I go to see the Colts play and the Pacers take the court, I'm going to be upset. Not because I like basketball any less than football, but if I went to see football, I want to see football. When I want to see a basketball game, I'll buy a damn basketball ticket.

:rotfl Good point. Someone needs to get to the bottom of this.

Star Wars was NEVER NEVER an Antifa chick flick
