wow, Im glad i asked you to explain,
that last line explains a couple of people that post in the forum actually. specially other areas like the sandbox. thank you bro.

You're sincerely welcome. The same goes for any sort of bullying really. If you can put your feelings aside and listen to people when they say mean things, it tells you a lot about them. When someone says, "You're not very smart" literally out of nowhere, it means they're self-conscious about their intellect. You know that, because to them, telling someone that they're dumb is hurtful. They're projecting. If someone says, "You're ugly!" it usually means that they're insecure about the way they look. Normal bullies usually show you their weakness, the moment they insult you. Secure people rarely go around insulting other people unprovoked.

There are exceptions. Some people who empathize can be sadistic. Don't argue with those people. If someone digs around to find out what makes you tic, and then throws whatever weakness they find at you maliciously, you probably should just stay away from people like that. Don't argue with them. You can tell the difference by how personal the insults get. If it hits close to home, just blow them off, and bail. They won't respond to shaming, or ridicule.

... and the consequences of freshly dyeing their hair even as the very last of the resistance's resources run out, and dwindling personnel die by the hundreds.

Holdo posted this selfie from the Day Spa Frigate while "trigger-happy flyboy" Poe was... let's see, um... saving the ****ing fleet by destroying the Dreadnaught?:lol

Ah, I see. You're smarter than people who don't like the movie elsewhere, but here, where you've been met with opposition and compared to a hipster, you don't necessarily think that people who hate the film are stupid. How benevolent of you. :lol

See Crows, this is what I'm talking about. He's wavering in the face of ridicule. Bullies hate confrontation, because their cowardice is what inspires them to be mean in the first place. Politely telling this person, "I don't think calling people stupid is very nice" isn't going to dissuade him from sounding as if he's been raised in a barn. Compare him to a hipster, and suddenly he's detracting. :rotfl
You’re grasping at straws now. Or merely looking for a fight.

Stating my perception that a lot of (not to be mistaken with most) people that are vacuously fervent about their disdain for the film seem to be on the lower end of the spectrum, when I’ve seen their garbled and illegible tweets, texts and posts... is pretty self explanatory. There’s no need to get your panties in a bunch. However, feel free to continue, if you so desire. :lol

which is ironic because if you read tweets texts and posts of the last jedi defenders it goes something like: "WOW, great visuals, OMFG CHEWIE and the pogs Hilarious LOL" or " BEST star wars eva, Rey is my hero OMG" or " this is the greatest feminist progresive movie of the last decade, this movie shows that women and people of color are the greatest people ever" or "OMG So much space fights so COOL OMG I love BB8 STAR WARS YEAH!"

Yep, and they would be lumped right in there with them. Oddly, I haven’t seen quite nearly as many on that side of the fence. Gee, I wonder why?

I strongly believe that the Star Wars fan base is beyond help. First, they complained about The Force Awakens being too similar to the original films, especially concerning some of the plot devices and story arcs. Now, they’re throwing a tantrum, signing petitions, issuing death threats and just generally losing their collective ****, because the new film is trying to take the franchise in a different direction. It took risks. The Force Awakens played it relatively safe.

It’s a catch-22. Almost makes me wonder if the prequels really aren’t as bad as everyone makes them out to be. Almost.

And a large portion of people seeing this film likely have the IQ of a potato left out to bake in the sun.

This is one of the few times, as of late, where I actually fall in line more with the critics. I’m glad I moved past rabid fandom years ago. I’d never be able to enjoy anything, if I was even remotely like the “majority” seem to be.

Yes I blame the fans for wanting the Luke Skywalker that was characterized in the original trilogy and ending in RotJ. Whydont the low IQ fan boys rejoice Luke as a beaten, depressed, coward, hermit? I mean how stupid are people to want to see a brave coherent Luke that wants to once again help out his family and friends. It's so cool he spent a whole movie surrendering himself to the Emperor to find the little good in his estranged father who helped kill his mother, to now try and killed an unarmed, sleeping child that's his sisters son. I don't understand what you fan boys wanted? The 35mm projector Luke was an awesome way to kill the biggest pop culture icon of the last 40 years. I think you guys just dont get how creative , edgy and intelligent Rian Johnson was, he made something different, he broke new ground!!!!!!!

Stupid fan boys

(Even if it took a nonsensical withholding of information to show it!)

Risk-taking is fine... if the movie also fits in to the established continuity. But Johnson made a standalone film when he was tasked with the middle (and arguably most important) instalment in the trilogy.

They won't though, because it was nonsensical and very confusing to any young Star Wars fan watching. None of them knew what the hell was supposed to be happening, because it was completely illogical and badly written/shot/edited.

The guy in the back mocking her :lol

This movie needs to be seen with a canned laugh track.

I was just thinking, it’s crazy the timeline of this new trilogy, so far two films have happened covering a time span of merely a few weeks, where previous trilogies had years in between to expand on characters. It’ll be interesting to see how much time passes between 8 and 9. I think they need years, how can characters grow in the story without time passing.
